All out shooting??
Lots of crazy knights??

Balanced, but a bit weighted towards shooting. I usually include about 30 hangunners, 8 knights, 28 spearmen with two 12-strong detachments, and some artillery. Works pretty welll for me :)

I don't have a lot of models yet, but my I'm aiming towards a infantry based missile army with powerful close combat units and a unit or two of knights.

an all infantry with a lot of shooting works really well. Detachments rock!

I do a fairly balanced army with a slight lean towards shootiness. I have one big unit of Knights and that is my only cavalry in the army besides my Grand Master.

I play 4 fantasy armys, but my orcs and my lizzies are on hold cuz of model difficulties. For my empire i often get DOW dwarves with crossbows because they get a 3+ armour save with heavy and hnd weapon and shield so they can handle themselves in combat. I only use spearmen at the moment but i barely have 1000pts. I need some help deciding what to go for next. I think ill get a box of soldiers and have swordsmen. so ill have either 30 spearmen with two 10 man Halbedier detatchments... im hoping to get two dwarf cannons and convert them so i can use in both empire and dwarf army. im kinda poor!!! im only a kid anyways..

I'd love to play Empire, its got a lot of character and individuality as far as rules dun matter, nice minitures and really nice steam tanks, very nice indeed plus there flatul;ants...lol are really cool aswell.

btw, gw plymouth sucks, are you using the regemints of renown or the dogs of war army list the difference being the DoW army list is a stand alone army while the RoR is for use with other armies.

Vriishnak the Twisted - October 23, 2003 01:26 AM (GMT)
Lots of crazy knights for me. I really like the idea of a crusading army, but I don't like the style of the Bretonnian army or models. Not like the army'll ever be done, but that's the dream. :D

JinUlrik - October 23, 2003 07:36 AM (GMT)
I play a balanced army but try to have either little more knights OR little more shooting than most armies. I usually have 2 knight units and 20 handgunners plus Engineering School inventions  .

Rob2 - December 15, 2003 03:13 PM (GMT)
army designed for the enemy.............that's why I'm undefeated.

I have repeatedly pummeled the undead and the dark elves............not to menchan my own kind.

The empire is soooooooooo flexible. Great guys, great characters an a helluva lot o artillary

Swedishviking - December 15, 2003 04:22 PM (GMT)
ATM, it is a very defensive army, but I'll add some knights later. However, the army will probably end up with more shootiness then crazy knights..

Duke of Knights - December 24, 2003 08:19 AM (GMT)
i would like to play a all knight army so i could just charge right in and destroy as much as possible then figure out the rest of the battle from there

at the moment im trying to make a flexible army

Hey guys try a magic based army.............the lore of heaven.....s a great setup if u can pull it off.
