Ok, I have two boxes of Skeletons, I am making them both equipped with Spears, Light armour, Shields, and with the Standard, Musician and Champion. I also have made Isabela and Vlad (which I use for my vampires) and a few necromancers.

I am wondering where to go from their, to make up a good 2000 point army. I am thinking of doing a Necromancer army, But I dont know how to suppliment it's hitting power.

Also was thinking of going Lahmia, but not sure how their armies are to be made.

Any thoughts and suggestions for this newb to the game?

I'm a bit pressed for time right now but here's one bit of advice, avoid spears for Skeletons. Also don't bother with Light Armour, the point of Vampire Counts is not to have heavily armoured core that won't get hurt, it's to have core that you can bolster and replenish. 11 0dd points for a skeleton is a bit silly (Considering that a Chaos Warrior costs 14). Concentrate on raising troops not keeping them alive... So to speak.

I myself, get them light armour and no spear, they get a 4+ save, wich is good to keep them alive.

Get some zombie boxes and skellies, youll need them to summon more.

Maybe this advice will sound crazy to vets, but go max on charater. when you get to 2000, play some games and after a while, youll know what you want.
