Think about it. Night Runners are skirmishers, and do you really want that many skirmishers running around the field, taking up space? How many other Eshin type of units can you field? Gutter Runners, assassins,...(I don't have my book here.) Thouhg it would be cool to field an all Eshin army, it is dificult to do while staying within the fluff lines.

Thats why its an appendix list. it would probably be fun to play it once or twice but you wouldn't want to always play it. B)

Eshin armies are very quick due to the skirmish feature.
I played against them a couple of times.

First my Druchii simply got overrun - I completely underestimated, but my revenge was gory!

They are not as easy targets as clanrats because of the skirmishing.
Eshins are, as I already said, quite fast and therefore easily can flank out other armies - and they have to!
If you catch them soon enough an prevent this outflanking you probably have to face assassins but if you got rid of them it's easy to break the army due to lower morale.

Ghost

Eshin are only good because of their scouting Assassins and Gutter Runners
They are easy to stop by placing a unit/model with 360 line of sight.

Maybe you don't know this Deathmaster, but what you did is called Necromancy meaning you opened up a topic that was considered dead because no-one had replied in it for almost a year. Please don't do it again as it's really annoying and generally screws up the rest of the board.
