thx for reply
I dont have to many hero, at 2000 pts you can have 4 hero
and for steam tank vs gotrek and felix, the only reason that i like gotrek and felix is they are monster slayer 1 turn and i kill the tree man of my friend :o
i never play whit a steam tank so if anybody can tell me if is good
and what tactic use whit it ^_^

picture this........a steam tank takes 3 hits with a cannon to kill, causes terror, is unbreakable, has options of weaponry.
and that's only if the cannon scores maximum damage each time.....i like the thing..it's vary hard to kill.
by the way an elector count counts as 2 characters....that's why u have too many.
it costs an extra character slot to upgrade to a lord......but i like playing ur way too....more fun.

warrior priests are useless unless used against undead, chaos or skaven.

This would be a lot easier if people got their facts straight before posting.
You do have too many characters. At 2000 points, you can have a maximum of 4 characters, of whom all 4 could be heroes, or you could take a lord and three. An Elector Count does not take an extra character slot.
A steam tank is definitely better than Gotrek and Felix, but it has 6 pages of rules, many of which are contradictory to the main rule-set, and many people consider it overpowered. Basically, if you decide to take it, don't expect the people you play with to appreciate it.
As to the list itself: Drop the griffon, it just makes it so your elector can be targetted, which is bad. Get detachments for your units; they're the only way empire troops can stand up to harder things. Handgunners are useless in units of 16; use 10, or take them as detachments to your other units. Finally, more units will almost always be better than characters, so I'd drop Felix and friends for another unit. As it stands you'll be badly outnumbered by everybody.

And Empire players do not want to be outnumbered.

The Steam tank is one of the most feared war machines of warhammer...i've never seen an empire army doing any good in tournaments without Steam Tanks...
I don't understand your MIlitia ,take them only as detachment, because without armour they are easily killed if used like a normal unit....

Steam tanks are easy to kill if your opponent knows how- and I've also seen Empire armies do just fine in tournaments without one.
