I would have to say Eshin first, then Pestilent. Moulder I have never liked, and Skyre just seems too non-rat like. (Don't be afraid to prove me wrong)

Again, my favourite clan is Eschin since ninja rats are really cool. I also like the story with the Rat Ogres taking on the Blood Dragon Vampire. They would be my second favourite clan.

Again, gotta love the theme of professional backstabbers in a bakstab society. :ph43r:

Reason why no one has voted for clan skyre is that they are overlooking the most powerfull weapons the skaven have available such as the warp fire teams the mighty warp lightning and jezzails imaging fielding that most armies would cower at the sight apart from this i voted unifed as no clan is more powerfull than one that is combined :)

I think the reason is because those things are not Skaven-like(ie- not horded). Though I think Skyre is just as much ratty as the others, thats just me. :huh:

I like pestilans, simple reason being plague monks are some of the best skaven models out there IMO

I like Eshin the most (the fluff) but if I was to make an efficient army I would go Skyre lots of Warlocks and Ratling Guns => bang-bang manling :D

i like em all but pestilense. Arse'Krak (my grey seer) has the same view as before the civil war, ban the plaguey idiots. what keeps him alive, the fact that he buys a lot of skyre, he uses a lot of assasins, is sponoured by moulder and the grey seers like him. so as you can tell, i use everything but pestillense in my army

moulder. Its a shame tho, in the new book its almost completly skyre. I mean, you can go just one clan, but it usually doesnt work out that well. Im the only player i know of that even uses more than one unit of rat ogres now.... (2k)

MAN! You lads love ESHIN! I played rats all through 5th edition and only just put them down to trykhemri (too many other strapons at my club). I Voted Pestilens as plague monks/censor bearers are my favrate units. GO PESTILENS

My favourite clan is Pestilens....mostly because I've spent the last 3 and a half years studying bacteria and disease so I'm kind of an honorary Plague Priest!!

Don't use the army much these days though mostly because it's not even half painted - got bored of all those drab greens and browns!

Clan Moulder are pretty good too - I just love the new rat ogre models!

All the characters and units in my army are named after bacterial species - my Plague priest is (of course!) Yersinia Pestis - the bacterium that causes plague!

My god I'm sad. I've turned into the geek in the yakult advert, or whatever it is!! :rolleyes:

Gotta be moulder for me. I prefer the idea of giant, mutant rats to any of the other ideas, especially in a fantasy setting.

i like clan pestilens, for the plague censor bearers alone those guys are devistating especially against things with good armour saves that are expected to stay long, they don't $$

Well, Skryre are the coolest, in my opinion. None other than the Skaven would actually equip themselves with something that casts a lightning bolt at the enemy, but may kill yourself as well. Oh, the humor. I just love it when a Skryre army sets up, and in turn 1 both Engineers fry themselves, the Jezzails explode and panic, the Ratling Guns explode and fire in their own midst, the WLC misfires down their own line and shoots down about 600 pts of rats, while the Poison Wind Globadiers drop globes on the ground, going "uh-oh..." and kill themselves, panicing, causeing the entire army to collaps. On turn 1.

My army is going to be a swarm (lots of clanrats and slaves) and skyre army. I have to say - though I know this will piss people off- that I think Moulder is the worst clan of the four, my favorite is Skyre, then Eshin, then Moulder ( the first three are very close, with Moulder far behind) I dont like rat ogres, because the models would be fun to convert, but for how good they are they cost too much money and points.

i made my own clan:D apart from that i like em all alot cept moulder, theyre cool too though

i like clan skyre because they go boom and they arec cool i am thinking about getting a whole skyre army with 4 wlc and that would be deadly to me and my opponents. i would have to say that a mix between all of them is ok eshin and skyre are way better then moulder i havent really tried pestilence oh ya also in my skyre army i would have 200 slaves 80 clanrats pushing the bell and thats it.

Although i dont play any one clan i really like pestilins. The censer bearer models and the plague monks are really good. They are also a powerful unit on the gaming board. You cant go wrong with 25 plague monks backed up by 6 plague censer bearers.
