I quite like the way that WD does theres with a little intro story and concluding bit that adds a bit of character, whilst managing to give enough detail in the "meat" of the report so that tacticians can ummm and aaah over each decision. If the entire report were done in story fashion it would, I feel, gloss over some details.

i voted for storyline but also enjoy hearing about that stats of the battle...like how unit A completely wiped out unit B...

Why not please everyone so far and go for the mix. Life's hard enough as it is without having to make black and white choices. Give us a third option in the poll Drauthnir and we'll all be happy. :lol:

Having facts mixed into the storyline was kind of what I meant, but I guess arewording was in order. I've revised the poll accordingly.

My first language is french so when i see story report, i skip them. Its boring to read when its your second language

I like the story mode for the battle report just if some thing killa lot :D just post at the bottom Of the report kill wonds form a guy that kill a lot

if theres a challenge or something dont tell us wounds and stuff, give us like a 4 paragraph battle description of how the mighty saurus rid the wrold of yet another skaven warlord
if onyl the skaven would accept challenges...

Is it just me, or do you HATE those fact-cramed impossible-to-read battle reports?

I love good stories though, with warhammer too!

I like WD style, where there's a lot of feeling coming from the players. If its in all story format, you don't really know what happened in the fight exactly. I think we should have a mix of stories based on fights, and some straight out battle reports.

I love the story line type just brings the game to life more.

Now that the weekend is here, I hope some of you guys will be posting a report (due Monday :lol: ). I also hope this post has been helpfull to those who are going to be posting some battles reports here soon. Looking forward to seeing some!
