I got NAKAI's Rules!!!, Yeah!

As, the Oyxl and Valley Campaign closed up, and Prince_of_Lecai of Asur.org, stated that he would bring us the rules for Nakai, I thought I would get them soon enough. But, unfortunately, Prince failed to give them to us, and I thought It would be over.

But No, i was wrong. Soon after the Conversion Klinic article had opened, they soon released rules for Nakai the Wanderer that were used in the campaign. Rules in which I have found today!

Finally, Nakai's Rules! One's that are half-decent!

Now those are Kroxigor lord stats at last strength 6 that Drgaon is dead those are pretty similar to what I had posted in Starfyre's post. finally some decent special characters I have to use him next chance I get.

If I gave you the specific stats here then that is a breach of copyrite... I think, the other way I can tell you though is this think of an oldblood's stats now decrease the WS and increase M to kroxigor movement and increase S, W and A by one each and you have Nakai's stats. This along with special entry rules similar to a gorgers and a magic weapon with a ward equal to glyph necklace as well as the strength bonus of a GW without striking last and one or two other rules and you have a clear idea.


EDIT: Yeah I know I meant 6 before magical weapon of death (or MWOD if you prefer)

Not like the not-automatically-striking-last thing is going to matter against most of the armies in the game, since Nakai's Initiative is so low. But yeah - finally another good character - most of the ones since the army book came out have been lackluster at best. Nakai could take on a Dragon or Steam Tank and win in very short order if it charges, but couldn't wipe out whole 20+-models ranked units on its own. Appropriate. Plus Nakai can join ranked units - there's no proviso against it.

I thought he was able to kill fleets of demons single-handedly.. or does he have to be on a bridge for that

I wonder if we will get that bridge in our next army book as a magic item. Bridge of Stars +10

I don't really like him. I'd prefer a cheaper oldblood. But thats just me...

I would have liked to see some specilisation vs deamons.

I don't know why LM playeres like Nakai so much Anyway his stats are impresive. 6 S8 attacks with WS5 can be realy destructive. And I think he attack not last like with GW but using iniciative (there isn't writen that his weapon is great weapon). That's also big plus.

And I have a question - when we roll for this terrains and in second turn we roll 2x6 so in which of this terrain we will place Nakai ?

And ofcourse this is not official rules... as I love GW... :/

To be honest I was a little overwhelmed by the idea of having a kroxigor lord with strength 8 *Drools* having another look I think these rules are not all that great and I certainly think that we could come up with some better ones than this.

I love them, too. Only thing I miss is the regeneration rule of the US campaign one and it's a little bit pricey.

Perhaps. But I think we'd have to make our rules from scratch. I don't want to be revising GW's Rules. Plus, the Special Weapons that Nakai are really lacking in the creative name's department. I think me and you perhaps could create something?

Common: 400 points for a rare and a lord slot? Too much.
Also a BSB? He is a friggin' kroxigor. I know that he looks huge a towering. Better rule should be that he would inspire the units around him which results in every unit within 12" to be subjected to hatred for the first round of CC.

Ok, S8 is nice, but only 5+ ward save for a creature that is worth 400 VP? In the current enviroment that is decided by cannons and other heavy stuff 5+ Ward Save is practically useless.

I'm wondering if he is able to join units of kroxigors. The file doesn't say so, but being a special character...

My post may seem harsh, but I just expected more of him.

Hire some ogre bulls give them the look-out-gnoblar and stick Nakai there...now he's safe from cannons

Nakai or a couple of nice new Rhinox riders.

Depends if their bull rhinoxes or not. But to sum him up hes nice if not a bit expensive. Its just an option, at least we get these a lot of armies dont get reasonable regualr updates to thier character repitore.
