Hey everyone I was having a look around on the Gw website when my eyes came across THIS it is a campaign set in Lustria and there is a conversion of Nakai at the bottom. Bascially along with this campaign which lets you take on additioanl hero slot there are plans for brand new and 100% official rules for Nakai to replace the ones which he had for the vampire coast campaign.

[Sarcasm]hang on a second though those legs look awfully familiar, I am sure I have seen another conversion of Nakai that uses Balikors legs as well but where from?[Sarcasm/]

oh yeah now I remember the idea came from me dry.gif . On a serious not if they did get the idea from me (My Nakai version went to GW headquaters back in may for the Lizardmen collectors guide due to be released some time in August) then I am dead chuffed that they used it. Oh boy I can't wait to see some rules that will do him justice

@ Loq-Kai:
Yes, it is.

The spieks on the weapon look like the spiles from the slann.

But what is the rest of the weapon, where do the hands come from, or the body?

Let's hope that he has some great rules so that he is actually worthwhile using.

Ohh, and white scales. Am I the only one curious about this?

I actually like to paint models in white. Such a nice colour imho.

Why can't they use a normal Kroxigor body with extra scales and some tooled- up stuff like scrolls and stuff? That would look better.

The converted Nakai by GW uses all of Belakors body except he has been given no tail, the head is from a cold one and the weapon is made from the standard of a Slann's palanquin as is the second part of the toga.

@Loq Kai, regular kroxigors are way too small for any decent Kroxigor special character.

Having reread the campaign of Oxly even though the rules are for the campaign only I think that they may well make a full appearance later in the future otherwise there would be little point in making them, hopfully someone is going to go the GW in Nottingham for the event and can then say what the rules are like.

The info sheet says that the rules are experimental so hopefull this will mean that the purpose of the campaign is to play test him to see how good he is.

mark of the old ones maybe?
he is venerated as almost a god by the skinks so he must be favoured by the old ones

Rikard, I mean use the basic shape of a Kroxigor, and make him bigger, and give him more scales and some other stuff. It would look way better.

wow good job rik looks like they were impressed enough to scab your ideas lol. ive been waiting for some good nakai rules a long time.. there is just to much trouble with the rules floating around at the moment. the weapon looks cool but a bit unwieldy imo.

It would be better to post a link. At least for copyright purposes.

Well I stuck up a similar post at Warseer forums as I will not be able to go to the campaign at Nottingham. The info sheet from the GW website says new "one off" and experimental rules so there is a possibility that the rules are being play tested at the event and that we could see a revamped Nakai (better than the Vampire coast one) appearing in a future edition of WD. However there is also the chance that it will only be for this event so if anyone does go make sure you remember what the rules are like.

I actually see a new lizardmen list coming up. In which Kroxigors will be just core troops. Mark my words, they've done it already so many times before.

What I want him to be is just a bit of a stronger Lroxigor with a better save and some special rule when he joins a unit of kroxigors. I don't want hił to be some kind of emi-god that cannot lose in CC. (mostly resulting in a very expensive model pointswise as well as taking up several slots).

Fingers crossed...

I want him to be str 8 (after gr weapon), have a 3+ armour save, 4+ ward, like 5 or 6 attacks, and also I would assume he would be unbreakable. Oh, and have some special blessing since he is like a chosen prophet type guy smile.gif smile.gif

I'd give him a bunch of more rules. Damnit; I want to design him smile.gif
