Title: Official Banjo Kazooie/Tooie Topic!
Description: Who remembers this old friend?
Toanuvafreak123 - October 8, 2004 05:46 PM (GMT)
This was one of the best Action/Adventures ever, made by rare. I think it had great graphics for the N64, and the moves were funny and hilarious. It was the type of game where the characters talked, exept they did it in the "voices" of the animal they were. Anyone remember?
Koopaking - October 11, 2004 02:55 AM (GMT)
Oh yeah! I loved those games. I waited about a year for Tooie to come out, the first was so good. I beat them, but I love them. Did you ever get the eggs on the first adventure? I found all of them. :D
Toanuvafreak123 - October 11, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
Eggs... first adventure? If you mean Jiggies, I couldn't get it, and in Banjo-Tooie I cheated to get all the levels and get the uber-kewl Nestking mode. All the feathers and eggs made me a happy chicken. Also, I waited since the GBA's release for Grundy's revenge... SOOO LONG.
Koopaking - October 11, 2004 05:13 AM (GMT)
Ah. Well, what I meant by 1 adventure was Banjo-Kazooie. If you get all the jiggies and beat Grunty, Mumbo will show you a 3 pictures of places to find eggs. And ofcourse, you can type in cheats to find them at the sand castle in the beach place. Surprisingly, I still remember that... And I also cheated to beat most places, but I never typed in cheats to open places. BTW, did you know you can type in cheats backwards if you haven't learned them yet? it takes a while, but it's worth it.
Toanuvafreak123 - October 11, 2004 03:28 PM (GMT)
WOOT! WISHYWASHYBANJO IS GONNA EXIST SOON! XD And I remember one OLLD issue of NP had all the B-K and B-T codes, but in the first if you had more then 3 working, Grundy reset your file...
Koopaking - October 11, 2004 03:33 PM (GMT)
Ah, well, I beat the game...
Toanuvafreak123 - October 11, 2004 03:59 PM (GMT)
I was too busy with other stuff, then I got Tooie, which GREATLY improved the original.
Of Doom - October 11, 2004 07:40 PM (GMT)
I named my pet bird Kazooie.
Toanuvafreak123 - October 11, 2004 08:53 PM (GMT)
Aww, Kyuute. I wuv birdies. Is it red and wears lipstick, or just a random name?
Of Doom - October 11, 2004 09:11 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I luv birds too, they're really cute. Anyway, she's more of a cinnamin color, with some white speckles, and a yellow head with orange cheeks.
Bronze Griffin - October 11, 2004 09:27 PM (GMT)
I've got Banjo Kazooie, it's a fantastic game. It's bright, colourful, original and engrossing, and I love it to pieces. I haven't completed it but I still like it a lot! Rare always make great games (apart from Starfox Adventures, which wasn't bad... it was just a little, well, linear). Every idea in it was great; every little adventure was hilarious; everything about it was superb in some way. I've also got Grunty's Revenge on my GBA and it's most definitely one of the best platforming games on there. I love it. I just wish Rare hadn't been bought by Microsoft, now!
Rare's HQ is in southern England, actually. I've been there before (well, not in the HQ, but I've been to the place where it is...). I feel so hounored, lol.
Koopaking - October 12, 2004 04:40 PM (GMT)
Well, I think it's sad that Nintendo sold Rare to X-box. That wasn't a god move for Nintendo. Cause as everyone said, Rare always comes up with good ideas.
Of Doom - October 12, 2004 07:47 PM (GMT)
Isn't DK one of nintendo's all-stars? Aren't DK games made by rare?
Koopaking - October 12, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
Yeah. I know. That's what's so sad about it. THQ is now making that stuff.
Hyper-Gamer2004 - October 12, 2004 08:04 PM (GMT)
That's insane! nintendorocks03, but apparently not in 04!
Koopaking - October 12, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
Heh heh, your old name eh?
Takanuva, Toa of light - October 14, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
Lol, I love those games. Anyone familiar with "Breegull Bash?" I love that. I haven't seen much of Grundy's Revenge, but Tnf says it wasn't as good as the others. Supposably it's camera stank and there were only 5 levels. Yeah, that's about the drift of it. It was fun to see my old friends, but there were only 60 Jiggies in all, and the first 2 levels were for beginners, and I couldn't understand the storyline. I loved Freezing Furnace, though. :D
Darkness Wolf - October 16, 2004 02:39 AM (GMT)
I have both; the ones for the N64, that is.
Sky - October 16, 2004 07:21 PM (GMT)
I have kazooie and tooie there okay good graphics for the 64 though.
Darkness Wolf - October 19, 2004 09:27 PM (GMT)
I started to play them again. I already beat Kazooie. It's so easy nowadays!
Koopaking - October 20, 2004 12:26 AM (GMT)
Now that we have thoughs hard games, eh? Well, it could also be that our brains are developing...
Darkness Wolf - October 20, 2004 12:32 AM (GMT)
Probably the latter half.
For example, Metroid Prime. I have every missile location basically memorized. I'm getting better and better with my times. My last one was only a few minutes over ten hours....Compared to the first time I played which was like 18 some hours...And the fastest time I've heard of to beat it, which was 6 hours and some mintues
Koopaking - October 20, 2004 02:16 AM (GMT)
Yes, like me and Paper Mario 1, I've made 8 files, and of which have improved each time... but that is because My orginal file is the only one that I have EVERYTHING.
Of Dume - October 22, 2004 03:20 AM (GMT)
Gee, give it a rest with Paper Mario, Koopaking! It's all you talk about.
Koopaking - October 24, 2004 06:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah, because it is the COOLIEST!!!
Hyper-Gamer2004 - October 25, 2004 10:35 PM (GMT)
You should really get back on topic, kk. This is for BK or BT. Not PM.
Toanuvafreak123 - October 26, 2004 12:12 AM (GMT)
And although it's a new system game, GR is accepted as well. (Grundy's Revenge)
Toanuvafreak123 - June 8, 2005 08:58 PM (GMT)
Weeeeebump.
Anyway, I was flipping through my old player's guides because I got hyped up about these when I saw the list of downloadable Rev games. Anyglavin, I noticed something strange about tooie... Quite a few bosses end up good- er, well, not 100% evil.
Old King Coal: Runs Chuffy the Locomotive for you
Terry: Gives you a Jiggy if you hatch his babies for him.
Chili and Chilly: After you PWN them sufficiantly, they give in and stop throwing stuff at you and go out for a burger.

Ah, be quiet. You're just jealous of how cool I am.
