im a computer networker. i sugest getting a linksys router. if you have dsl that is. you can try COM1 serial or PORT1 paralell cobel for "direct connect" but, routers offer allot more. jeremyser its ok to help people, if you know something about routers you coulda told him. the router comes with a cd that takes you through a setup guide. i perfer setting up industeral routers with like 30 ports they are cool. if you want to get complicated you can hook up you com1 top the com port on the router and open hyper terminal, there you configure anything if you know the commands and how to get passwords and stuff lioke that. if you want to learn about computer networking and everyaspect i suggest taking a cisco class. they were very good to me and iv learned allot in there. its a good carrer too. c ya if youg ot any questions gimmie a letter 1337cshacker@gmail.com later dude
