Title: BLARG.
Description: I need help...

Can someone help my Mom get a PS2? My Mom wants to get a XBox just for the DDR, and I'm trying to tell her that the PS2 is more family friendly... With my 6 year old sister and all, there won't be much else to do with it... She said she wants the DVD player, and doesn't belive the PS2 has one as well... I really like the PS2, even if only for the Eyetoy and Sly Cooper, but someone help me talk her out of it!

Get the X-Box. It has Halo.

(smack you)

Of course the PS2 has a DVD player...I use it a lot! Mainly because I'm too lazy to use the actual DVD Player...The PS2 is so much closer from the recliner...And I use it up and my grandparent's cottage, cause they don't even have cable in it...Also, the PS2 is cheaper, I think...

My mom and sister don't appreciate M rated games, and I ain't gettin' M rated games for a loooooooong time. Anywya, I prefer Sly over Cheif... Ooh! FLASH ANIMATION TIME! THE MATCH OF THE DECADE! :P

Sly has, like, racoon powers, and MC has, like, and arsenal of lethal weapons of death.

He also has a slicey thing and can balence on about nothing, and goes a large bit faster then Cheif.

Chief can duck and jump... and throw sticky grenades...

Sly can jump... Of course, there's no point comparing them because the chief has machiney guns.

Get the PS2... My friend has one, and it rocks! I would get one, but I can't seem to move from this computer seat... Tell yu're mom that the M rated games are cool, but they suck until you're old enough t play them, and then she'll just say "what?" and buy the X-box

Toanuvafreak123 - July 22, 2004 05:32 PM (GMT)
It's not gonna be mine, it'll be my Mom's. Her "logic" is that she can use Xbox live to get new songs... Yet she claims she only wants it because it's a workout... My Mom is weird. But I could always act intrested and say: "Ooh! Ooh! I want Halo!" And accedently let my Mom see what type of a game it is when she's at Ice's house... Besides, I like the Eyetoy and Sly better then Halo... I'll admit I've been pretty harsh on it, and it is a pretty good game, but it isn't the best game in the world like some have said.

I just joined 5 mins ago but i think the PS2 is a better choice than x-box lol.
like u said i think it's more familly friendly. I don't see why u would get an x-box just for 1 game like Halo2 or DDR. The PS2 has a lot of good games and variety. :D

what the heck is blarg?

Toanuvafreak123 - September 9, 2004 09:13 PM (GMT)
Ah, the history of Blarg.

-The history and times of Blarg-

First, there was nothing.

Then, there was Blarg.

First created in one of the finest games of all eternity, Super Mario World, known better as Blargg, or "That big lava dragon thingy that tries to eat you". Primitive gamers started saying "BLARG" when they lost a life, because of all the Marios he claimed. It has now evolved into a universal word, often said in times of despair, or when bored.

Ah, so that's where Blarg came from. What about "Meh"?

Toanuvafreak123 - September 9, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
M.E.H. Me entertained hardly. It's an acronym.

Of Doom - September 9, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)

You faked that. :P Anyway, Tnf says his Dad's already decided, so shouldn't this be closed?

I could if you'd get off your account on my PC!

I guess it can't then.
