It doesn't look like there's already a topic about this, so I'll post it now. Anyway, Halo 2's gonna rock. I heard (no, SAW) that you can be an elite in multiplayer. I saw a screenshot of an elite driving a warthog alongside an elite w/ a battle rifle (new gun, like a combo of a pistol and assault rifle), boh charging a dozon or so SPARTANs in red armour. It's gonna rock.

i mean who cares about halo 2 my freind always talks about it i think its too over-rated there are better games out there

Well, my friend has it too, he and his brother beat the game in 2 days, and said the one player wasn't the best... But I played multiplayer with them and couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I thought it rocked... So the Multi player on this one should too.

Well most likely you don`t want my opinion, but your gonna get it anyway.....I was told by an expierienced Halo player that Halo was only good if you linked a bunch of x boxes together and like 4 people played at a time otherwise it`s ok.

well i suppose halo is ok but man i have a ps2 and to me thats the best console i dont care what you think about ps2 but halo is over rated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accually, seph, that was kindda my piont, too. That was what I talkin' bout. Also, Chili, I know you like the Ps2... but that's a little off topic, right now.

It seems cool, but I still think it's overrated...

Halo is a REALLY great game, and Halo 2 will make Halo look like Dig-Dug. On the other hand, Halo is a little over-rated, but Halo 2 should live up to expectations and then some.

halo was quite good when i was eight (two years back) i lived in england and my cousin let me play his x-box and i stayed with him for six weeks i would sneak up into his room when he wasent thre playing halo it was really fun for about four weeks then it got boring

It's the multiplayer that makes it fun. Whether you're helping a friend kill aliens, helping the aliens kill your friend (after which they kill you), helping a friend kill a friend, killing all of your friends, or getting killed by all of your friends who have now been angered. :lol:

Then don't shoot and/or run them over. If I'm in a Ghost, I can steer clear. If I'm in a tank, I let them get on the side. If I'm in a warthog, I let then get in the gunner seat and passenger seat and then proceed to run over my co-op parter cuz he's a lame gunner. If I'm in a banshee, that's just sad to run them over (SMEEEEEEEEEEEAR!!!)

Halo 2? Saving the world from a genocidal collection of races known as the Covenant. Basicly, they want us dead because it's against their religion for humans to exist.

I can't wait until Halo2 comes out, although they will more than likely push the release date back again. You can use the swords of the elite as your weapon on Halo2 that's going to be awesome!

Yeah, the Covenant energy swords are gonna pwnz3r. I don't think they'll push the release date back, though. Bungie would have to measure their hate-mail and flames in the millions. They only reason they did in the UK is because of shipping times.

I finally beat it...

I have one problem with it though... The ending. Wait, what ending? You have no sense of conclusion when the game ends. The credits just start rolling, and you're going: "??" On the other hand, it's completely awesome in all the other ways. Great multiplayer, fun campaign, sweet levels, online play...

i have halo 2 and i hate it.

Personnally i think halo 2 is overrated. I can't for half-life 2 to come out in 2 days, now this game is gonna rock.

halo 2 is the best game ever, it was well worth the wait. i like the added feature that the rocket launcher is able to home in on enemy vehicles. the best weapon in my opinion is the brute shot with the bayonette. to bad cortana had to get a virus, and that the game has to end so suddenly. oh well halo 3 should be the bomb.

Halo 3 will rock, and it had better. If it doesn't, everyone who didn't get ticked enough to leave at the (non-existant) ending on Halo 2 will leave the series for sure. Then Halo 4 will be ruined.

do you realy think that they will make a halo 4? i mean halo 2 only just came out. halo 3 better be longer an harder than halo 2 it only took me 7hrs to finish on heroic setting.

yeah i suppose, i just hope it dosn't end up having to many games like final fantasy thats all, i mean halo is an awsome game and to many series can ruin a game, but either way i will support it until the end.

Ha ha! I fugure this would be disappointing to the people who had Halo 2. It was obvious, accually. I mean, Halo was awsome. How can you make on of the most awsomest games ever even more awsome? There's no way.

Halo 2 is a lot more awesome. More weapons, more balanced, better graphics, online play...

halo 2 is the best, i can play it all day but multiplayer just makes it godlike. i perticually like the brute shot. i cant wait till halo 3
