Title: Iactive Users
mike_subuzi - July 14, 2005 11:46 AM (GMT)
Hey I just looked at the Member list and found out that 270 members have not made a single post and 480 of them have less than five posts . What is going on ? Why are so few people active ?
Koopaking - July 14, 2005 03:14 PM (GMT)
Why do you think? Most of them are freakin' advertisers like you. They come and advertise their site and leave. You've stuck around, but I wish you were more like them.
mike_subuzi - July 15, 2005 11:59 AM (GMT)
Now thats not nice . I am trying to Help keep the site active here . I dont have to do this .
Vince - July 15, 2005 06:31 PM (GMT)
Hey kk leave him alone...we have already put him through heck.
mike_subuzi - July 15, 2005 06:39 PM (GMT)
My bro put me through heck on this site .
Korean Richie - July 16, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)
This is old news everyone knows about it.
There are just a lot of spammers that advertise and leave after one post.
mike_subuzi - July 19, 2005 09:11 AM (GMT)
How about they consider deleteting some of theire accounts ? We dont need all these two post Advertisers maybe the admins should get rid of some .
Koopaking - July 19, 2005 06:51 PM (GMT)
Um, I don't know if you've consodered this, but they can't just mass delete accounts! They's have to do each account step by step. And besides, it doesn't hurt anything. I mean, then numbers make us look a little better, you know?
woozie2 - July 19, 2005 07:02 PM (GMT)
i say delete them theres no point in having them if they dont do anything
mike_subuzi - July 19, 2005 07:08 PM (GMT)
I have been thinking about it for a While now . Also we get people thinking the site is better than it is because of the high member count maybe they should be a rule like anyone who does not post for 200 days gets deleted .

I'm quote my last post, cause you guys didn't seem to read it.
There really isn't any point in deleting them. Plus it just takes time out of OD's and Tnf's hands. How would you like to spend a whole day deleting people that you aren't sure even exisist anymore? I wouldn't do it, so I'm sure they won't either.
And what about the people with those acounts! They might come back and post!
Jeremysr was one of them, but look at what he turned out to be. There have been others that leave for year and a half then come back. That's MUCH linger than 200 days.
Korean Richie - July 20, 2005 03:07 PM (GMT)
Yes it is true it wouldn't be fair for us to be erasing other people's accounts just because they spammed once and didn't come back. That is like banning someone for spamminng once. Plus they might come back latter as KK mentioned and they wouldn't be happy to see that they were erased. Also them being there does no harm to the site anyway. Not many even look at the number of people here as long as there are enough active members to keep the site around.

Me for example, I left for a year, then came back. I'm sure you could find a staff member who would delete those accounts if the staff wanted *coughpromoteJDtostaff fornoreasoncough*, but they don't, so who cares?
Lavo - July 26, 2005 11:47 PM (GMT)
You did fit in that catigory mike. So I'd be quiet if I were you.
Koopaking - July 26, 2005 11:55 PM (GMT)
 Uh, JD, you haven't been here long enough for Tnf and OD to know you... Infact, OD probably doesn't even know you've been on.
Also, I'm not even able to delete accounts. Only admins have that capability. And they wouldn't just hire an Admin like that. But that's why it's a dream, because it probably won't happen. Even Lavo has a slim chance at being a mod. XD
Anyway, Lavo has a point mike. You shouldn't talk about things that you wouldn't do yourself.
dragon-91 - July 27, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
i'm like one of OD's good friends and i'm pretty active and i'm not even a staff member. sooo it takes a very very very very very very long time on the sit to become a staff member.
Korean Richie - July 27, 2005 01:54 AM (GMT)
Well if you were there when the site opened they might recruit you.
dragon-91 - July 27, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
well i kinda was here like a few months after the site was first made.

Dragoonus - July 27, 2005 05:19 PM (GMT)
Some people just 'lurk' they don't post much, if at all, they just like to read stuffs.
