i personally am pro nintendo and sony, so i cant say i agree with you. I think the design is disgusting, and it looks like a computer...in fact, it basically is one!

I agree with daclassicgamingmaster because I really don't like XBox. Their games are ok, but XBox is to much like a computer. Plus the XBox stuff is coming out way before everything else is, and XBox fans from my classes say that they would rather not buy it, and are considering on buy the Revolution (New Nintendo system). This is in High School, too, where judgements are much more strict.

Im in a high school too, and a lot of people feel the same way as me. All my firends r anti-microsoft, and they also hate IE, and windows :D . The only good game for xbox is halo.. and thats a fact.

From what I can tell, they basicly repackaged the XBox and made it look worse. PS3 looks like a scanner, but I'll get it anyway. XD

Speaking of controllers...what I want to know about is the controller for the new Nintendo system. I've heard a bit about it, and I was lost. It just seems really wierd-sounding *but, then again, what I heard may have just been rumors*

Nintendo has not officially reveiled any details about the Rev's controller. They say that's why it's going to be revolutionary, and they won't reveal it until the 360 and PS3 have confirmed theirs so they won't steal their ideas AGAIN.

(Rumble, Analog stick, and wireless were all Nintendo's first, now everyone has them. Besides that, the XBox's controller is a blatent ripoff of the Gamecube. Just look at it!)

I could be mean and delete every off-topic post in this topic. Speaking of stealing ideas, Sony got sued for stealing the rumble design. It wasn't Nintendo's as far as I could tell from the article.

Comparing Xbox and GameCube Controllers.

XB: No Z button. No select button. Menu buttons are off to the left. Group of 4 buttons are the same size compared to eachother. Right analog stick is as usable as the left. Totally different trigger design. Different shape. White and black buttons.

And also, the first analog stick was from some arcade game. Nintendo wasn't first. Rumble I agree with you. And wireless seemed inevitable. Just like the wireless TV Remote.

Well look at the PS controller and tell me it isn't a SNES with a coupla analogs?

Two analog sticks in the same place
D-Pad in the same place
Start button in same place

The only difference besides the ones you mentioned is that the controller feels like crap in your hands. It's all bulky'd.

I only had 2, for the N64. One I got because it looked cool, and the other because it glowed in the dark... Did I just say glowed? Is glew better?

I had 3. Two for the N64 (huge, unwieldy, ugly after the cheap paint came off.)
And one for the Xbox. (I think Logitech wireless. It was horrid enough to turn a veteran into a n00b.)

Glow controllers > Non-glow.

Finally, some on-topic posts. Well, to my knowledge, Halo 3 is only on the 360. Only the 360 will be able to support it. I also hear the 360 will be backwards-compatible with both Halo 1 and 2. Maybe the "pop-in" on Halo 2's graphics will even go away. :)

Microsoft wouldn't be stupid and make it so you could play Halo 3 without buying their new system!
