Welcome to the Official Goomba Topic! So, who else likes goombas! *looks around* anybody?
[weirdness]well, sadly, I'm gonna have to kill a few goombas tonight in hazymaze to get 100 coins...I haven't killed a single goomba in 3 weeks! :( [/weirdness]
Oh, and for you people who like shyguys, if you're wondering what's behind their mask, it's actually...dundundun......GOOMBA's :D (I don't have proof!)

I figured it was either Goombas or Toads behind Shy Guys' masks. Or those weird Toadie things in Yoshi games.
Anywho, Goombas rock. BTW, as long as you're killing Goombas, make the best of it. I get 100 Coins really quickly with Yoshi swallowing the most valuable thing in the level (In your case one of the Skitter Bugs) and smash it at a group of Goombas.

goombas are pretty cool. did you say that goombas are behind the masks of shyguys? that seems very unprobable because shyguys are taller than goombas and shyguys have arms as where goombas have no arms

They don't use their arms, their arms just hang by their sides, so they are probably fake arms to disguise them even more. I'm glad everybody likes goombas!! :D
Also the reason shy-guys are taller is that shy guys have shoes and masks that boost their height.

then why does it seem that their heads go all the way up thier masks if their masks are taller then their faces?

Oh, i haven't seen a shyguy compared to a goomba, but it might be a different type of goomba or the shoes make it really tall. Goombas and Shyguys can be killed the same way and kill you the same way. And also try highlighting the last 3 words in my first post and copy+paste them into the address bar. (the "I have proof")

A course you don't. :P Anyway, Shy Guys do too use their hands! Remember Yoshi's story? They carried fruits! And in SMW2, they used chain smashy stuff.

Hmm goombas. They look like brown mushrooms sort of and would make for good chrachters in South Park since they were made to walk only sideways lol.
