Sup everybody,
I was just wondering if any of you know if you can save your game on super mario bros. 3 for nes? If there is a way I can't figure it out.. :P
Darkness Wolf - February 2, 2005 01:56 PM (GMT)
Nope, you gotta play it straight through. But, to make it easier, there are a few Warp Whistles hidden in the game. I know, like, two locations. There are more, I just don't know where.
Koopaking - February 2, 2005 08:32 PM (GMT)
He's right, you can't. And I know where the whistle is for level 1 and level 2
Darkness Wolf - February 3, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
I know the where to find two of them in World One.
Koopaking - February 3, 2005 03:46 AM (GMT)
Oh, I mean world 1 & 2, not level 1 & 2... Anyway, yeah, I only know of the one at the end of the midway castle in World 1.
Darkness Wolf - February 3, 2005 05:52 AM (GMT)
Level 3, World 1. I think that's the one...On the white block in the stage, stand on top of it, and press down for a few moments. You'll fall behind the foreground. Dash (hold down the B Button) all the way to the end of the stage. You'll disappear behind the blackness of the stage's finish area. Just keep running, and you'll reach the secret hut with the Warp Whistle in the chest.
Koopaking - February 3, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
I thought that was Level 1, World 1...
Darkness Wolf - February 3, 2005 09:45 PM (GMT)
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 04:25 AM (GMT)
Ah, well, the same trick an be pulled in Level 1, too. You squat for about 5 seconds and it will let you go behind everything.
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 04:27 AM (GMT)
Really? I'll have to try that.
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
Yeah, it'll get you through only part of the level, though. (I think. I've never gotten too far past the goombas after it puts you in the freground again.)
Look at this... Are we the only two old school members around here?
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 04:50 AM (GMT)
Yeah. Anyways, I used to know where to find another one, but I don't remember it anymore.
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 04:55 AM (GMT)
Same here. I think it was in the ice world, but I'm not intirely sure.
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 04:59 AM (GMT)
Which one was the Ice World again?
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 05:03 AM (GMT)
World 4. After the water world.
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 05:16 AM (GMT)
Was World 6 the Sky World?
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 05:27 AM (GMT)
No, That was world 5. I forget what world 6 was. I know world 7 was the plant world, and then 8 was Bowser's land.
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 05:42 AM (GMT)
Actually, World 7 was called Pipe World, if I do remember correctly.
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 05:48 AM (GMT)
eh, whatever. You get my point, though.
Darkness Wolf - February 4, 2005 05:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah. Also, I think it's in the Super NES version, if you beat the game, and play it again straight after, you get 50 Power Wings. I don't know if it the same for the NES version or not, though.
Koopaking - February 4, 2005 06:03 AM (GMT)
I'll have to try that some time. I have it for the SNES. But it's still the same basic ting for the NES. (Except for maybe a few cheats)
dragon-91 - February 11, 2005 01:39 AM (GMT)
I realy, realy, realy, want an NES or SNES but, i'm not allowed to :(

Toanuvafreak123 - February 11, 2005 02:11 AM (GMT)

Koopaking - March 10, 2005 11:48 PM (GMT)

Darkness Wolf - March 10, 2005 11:53 PM (GMT)
Dauphin - May 22, 2005 07:11 PM (GMT)
Mario is really cool. I have a NES and SNES, although I rarely play them, I do have them. Mario is fun to play when I go over to my uncles, as he doesn't have any new systems. I'm pretty good at all of them.
Shadowboy1111 - June 17, 2005 08:41 PM (GMT)
I am not really a fan of the Whole Mario thing .
daclassicgamingmaster - June 18, 2005 09:03 PM (GMT)
