WHO IS BETTER?
Link: Cons and Pros:
Pros:
* Has sweet sword and has lots of girls chasing him!
* Great close-range attacks!
* Longshot rules!
* Magic Powers! Gotta have those!
Cons:
* Not the greatest jumper.
* Those bombs blow up too quick.
* Not much protection...

Samus: Cons and Pros:
Pros:
* Protective gear
* Excellent far-range attacks!
* Awesome gun!
* (most importantly) She's a girl!
Cons:
* Weird protection
* Not a combo-maniac

Now's your chance to vote who is Better! And explain why because I don't like SPAM in this topic. Who is better? The boy or the girl?

I pick Link because he is easy to work with. He's also got that cool Fire Tunic.

Well...I don't have any games that use either character...but this topic wouldn't go in Completely Off Topic, since this a Gaming forum.......

I assume you're talking about SSBM, since Samus has been severely toned down from the Metroid games to make SSBM fair. Like the fact that she possesses beams that can vaporize an enemy instantly, and her Power Suit (aka "protective gear") would be able to stand up to a thin piece of metal (aka a sword).

Anyway, in SSBM, I vote for her for the following reasons:
- Almighty long range attacks like the super missile. (Dash Left/Right + B).
- Who needs the A-button? The C-stick owns you all at close range.
- I'm in love with her. Need I say more?

P.P.S. Moving to Misc. Systems...

Well I would pick Link.

Reasons...

1. He has an awesome hair style.

2. Awsome combo attacks.

3. {In Mojorda's Mask} Can transform into cool stuff.

4. Got nice wepons.

5. I love the sprial cut attack!

I agree to that, except for Samus' con, "Wierd Protection" I think she looks great in either the Varia Suit or the Phazon Suit.

But, I have to go with Samus. Link's sword is nice, but I still perfer katanas. Not that it makes any difference...

And besides...GameFaqs had the Character Battles, and the final battle was Link vs. Samus...

Who won that, anyways? I don't remember...
