I'm having difficulty getting my project to burn. I noticed that another Mac Forum member was having the same problem and received some help from other members. I tried all the suggestions and it still won't burn.

It asks for insertion of blank DVD. I load the DVD, but get a message stating, "no disc was found in the drive. Please insert a blank DVD-R disc."

I am running a Power Mac G4 (version 2.1). It is equipped with 1024 MB of memory, and dual 1GHz processors. I am running OS X 10.2.6 (6L60) Bus speed is 133 MHz. I have 330 GIG of storage on two hard drives, so space shouldn't be an issue..

I am using iDVD version 2.1.

I have tried four other discs (brand new), and get the same message.

What happens when you insert a CD? (Any kind of CD, a blank one, a computer game, anything....) Does the CD mount?
