Youtube link to trailer

IMDB link

New parody movie from the writers of the Scary Movie series, Epic Movie, and Date Movie.

... I don't even have hope for this movie, with the way their recent work has been.

After I watched a movie, someone (I forgot what his job was called.) showed me a few clips of this movies, along with a few others. It was absolutly awful, I'm not even going to watch the trailer, I know what it is, and I don't like it!

BTW: It was orriginally called '299'

The funny thing is when we rented Epic Movie, I only watched up to the Charlie and the Chocolate factory parody and lost interest, then left the room to go do something else. My family (who watched the rest of the movie) said that the only funny parts in the movie were the ones they showed in the ads for it, otherwise it was a horrible movie.

Glad I didn't miss anything good, haha~

Plus making a parody movie of it right now seems kinda stupid when people are still yelling "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA" in the first place. I couldn't help but facepalm at the Britney scene in the trailer.

Eh, I almost did, too..I just kind of twitched, in a really annoyed sort of way.

You present a good point, Wolf..making a movie like this is only going to utterly ruin all of the good "SPARTAAAAA" jokes out there. But alas, there is nothing that we can do to stop it from coming.

There are no good sparta jokes out there anymore. They were all used up a month after the movie came out.

I dunno, it might be good. I don't think it’s a nauseating offence to Hollywood or anything like that.

I'll admit I wouldn’t drop the theater price for it, but I wouldn’t be against renting the DVD once it came out.

My friends love 300. They also, for some strange reason, liked Epic Movie (I nearly got pwned by them by mentioning the major suckage in that movie). It seems like they were lying to themselves as they don't even give two shits for this new movie.

Now that you mention it Duce, I keep forgetting that movie ticket prices rose. Once it hits over ten dollars, then what's the point of watching the movie at the theaters? Why would you spend ten dollars just to see it once while you can spend twenty to see it when ever you want on DVD, or better yet, at a cheaper price on X-Box Live that you can keep for about over a year or so.

I think my family will rent it anyway when it comes out on DvD, but I don't think either of us will be surprised if we don't like it.

I think the writers started going down hill after Scary Movie 2 until it is as you see before you.

Five bucks says there is going to be a lot of Leonidas kicking people into pits a lot as a joke.

You watch.

But like Wolf, I'm not expecting anything from this movie.

Isn't this a 300 parody? My family owns that movie, and I don't think Ghostrider, Spider-man, or George W. Bush were in it.
