In any case, as with any book series THAT long, after so long only the fans will give a shit... Thing is, Harry potter is a pretty well-known and well-liked series. So there are a shitload of fans.

Books started going downhill after the third book anyway. Didn't really like the fifth or sixth, and enjoyed the seventh enough.
That being said, still haven't seen the fifth movie either. I think my only reason to at this point would be Luna Lovegood.

I don't remember anything about the fifth movie but I'm pretty sure I at least enjoyed watching it.
So far I've been hearing mixed reviews about the new movie, I'm sure we might see it soon. Also I think I can agree with Streea about the books but I did enjoy 4 and 5.
