Title: Transformers: Animated

Anonymous - December 27, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
Well, It Premiered tonight. I just finished watching it, and it was pretty good.

Plot: 4/5.
It stuck to the old as time plot of Transformers: Autobots come to Earth loading the All-Spark with them, Decepticons following, and Meeting some Human Family, becoming Heroes.

Animation: 3/5.
Just by looking at their robot designs, you wonder how the hell they're going to transform into cars. But with the creative artists from Teen Titans and Legion of Heroes, it was pretty easy to figure out after watching them transform a few times.
Also, It's better than this CGI/Digital crap we got in Energon/Cybertron.

Voices: 3/5.
The only 2 voices I can complain about is Optimus and the human girl- Sari. From what I've read on Wikipedia, Blurr will be returning with the voice of John Moschitta, Jr., Who origionally did Blurr in the movie. Also, Wierd Al is assigned to be voicing Wrek-Gar, which is appropriate, since Weird Al's "Dare to be Stupid" Played during the Junkion Chase scene in the Movie, and Wrek-Gar being a Junkion himself.

Toyline: 4/5
Pictures and Examples
The toy line Looks Amazing. I'm more than likely to be getting Blitzwing, Megatron, and Bulkhead when they release in Late Spring.

Overall: 3(1/2)/5
I would reccomend the new show for any transformers fan, old or new. Some will hate it, but would more than likely buy the toys for collector's sake.

I really wanted to watch it...
But 3 things messed it up.
1: Parents hogging the downstairs and my TV can't watch TV shows.
2:I have a friend over.
3: MK Armageddon is too damn fun.
I'll just go watch it on the internet.

I really should've TiVo'd it, but I didn't. D=
Man, it looks pretty good.

Also, Soundwave has the power of effing rock. Man, the Autobots are gonna will stand no chance against him.

Unless Grimlock pulls out an equally large and badass giant eletric guitar.

Then all hell breaks loose. =3

Megatron is looking pretty pimp, from what the toyline showed him as.

He doesn't have his crappy movie form anymore :D

Yeah...I'm one of those whatchamacallits...those haters of this new series.

Mainly because I'll never watch anything that has its animation done by the same people who did Teen Titans. Ever. EVER. Damn American-made anime.

Anywho, despite that, I WILL admit that it's better than the whole CGI stuff that was used in some earlier kids series (which I remember, bot not well.) At least that's different now. XP

I won't end up watching it though, most likely, if I can avoid it. I've got better things to do. But thanks for the little review, Anonymous. =3

I for one I'm willing to give this cartoon a chance. Untill the first episode is aired, let's not judge it straight away.

There is another good thing about this cartoon: Starscream is still the whiny (rhymes with witch) we all know and love.

I didn't realize Ratchet was capable of being a douchebag, though...

*looks at first post* O_O Weird Al as Wrek-Gar?!? Oh, THIS I gotta see! Though...I hate to tell Soundwave this, but...a bird that turns into a guitar? Already been done. Anyone remember Silverhawks?

Kaliback - December 29, 2007 11:29 PM (GMT)
Catched it this morning....its like a calling card back to the good ol days of G1. OG Transform effect and OG Fusion Cannon effect=WIN!!!

Aside from that, yeah, never knew ratchet could be an utter douche. 'Bee is a bit rattrapish- and Starscream is back to be a whiny (I WANNA BE LEADER!) 'con, with a voice close to the 80's. If a new GI Joe cartoon was made, I do believ e we have found our new Cobra Commander....but BOO at its timeslot...10 30 in the morn? *sigh*

I finally saw it.
It was great. I've got high hopes for the series. =D

Also, this was just damn hilarious.

I like it, but when Optimus has his face mask off... I WANT TO RIP OUT THE EYES OF SMALL CHILDREN!

Also Optimus dead AND came back record time.

Crappy movie form, eh? I'll take that over that bastardized "Animated" form any day of the week.

From what I saw of the series at 3 in the morning, it was only marginally better than any of these recent "Transformers: Minicons, Energon, Armadas, and More!" copy and pastes. A little harsh, maybe, but I think the topic creator was half a point too nice in their review.
