ANYWAYS! Yes, its from Gainax, yes, its a super robot show and sadly it just ended yesterday.
Barring spoilers, lets just say the finale was made of Epic Win and Bitch Girly Tears with an open ending.
Gainax has a huge announcement next week....that and if anyone wants a linkt to all 26 eps subbed, no torrents, straight from veoh, bug me for the link.

Uh yeah. I'm pretty sure a lot of us know about it by now but thanks for informing us anyway.
I've only watched the first five episodes. Then the subbers got lazy and I kinda lost interest since it wasn't as OMGEPIC as people made it sound.
Might pick it up again some day.

The only interest I have for it is because Kamina's pretty GAR, and Viral seems like a crazy character.
Otherwise, another one of those animes/TV shows/movies I'm interested in but I doubt I'll ever get to watching it.

I only watched the first episode. It was alright, I figured I'd watch the whole thing at some point.
Then it exploded on the internet. Now I know pretty much the entire plot of the show and I haven't even seen more than one episode.
Basically, I'm so sick of hearing about it/seeing stuff for it everywhere that I'm probably never going to watch it. But, whatever.

I started watching it with Vixie, got halfway through the episode, but never finished because she had to leave.
Now it suddenly became the new popular thing.
I'm pretty turned off by it, though thankfully I've avoided spoilers, so one day, I can enjoy it too.

I think I was to episode 12 before it exploded. I was somehow able to avoid the spoilers though.
But that was a great series finale, perfect in fact.

Gurren Lagann is fucking amazing. The arc of episodes from 7-15 are so fucking epic they make God's teeth hurt. The last 4 episodes are so fucking epic that they make Lord Of The Rings look like an episode of The Wiggles. It's like everything great and awesome and epic about mecha anime, condensed into 27 (26 story, 1 recap) episodes without all the bullshit filler and what have you.

And people who refuse to watch things just because they are popular are utterly baffling. "Oh no, I can't watch this because IT'S NOT UNDERGROUND ENOUGH I MUST BE THE FIRST TO WATCH IT BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE." Are you fucking kidding me? Fuck.
(pardon the rampant 'fuck's, I just came off an anime marathon that featured the third disk of Black Lagoon and the finale of Gurren Lagaan, so the word 'fuck' is pretty locked into my vocabulary at this point)
