Welp, the new dub's just finished, and so far, it's been excelent.

Uusop sounds a lot like Krillin, so it's more or less what I expected from Sony. And the same goes for Chris's preformance. But to me it sounds so good coming from them. =3

Finally Luffy has a voice that does not make me want to strangle that Mr. Fantastic wannabe.

...The problem with having girls voice obnoxious-comic-relief characters like Luffy and Usopp is that they do so dang much yelling they sound like they have a sore throat.

Usopp's voice actor is male, was male, and has always been male, in Japanese and English... And, I believe Luffy, by some international law, has to be done by a woman. I think that's Toei's rule.

It was okay. THat's all I have to say, but I can't figure out who Luffy's VA reminds me of.

Kid Trunks or Beet the Vandel Buster.

Well, Luffy's VA did do Beet, but she didn't do Kid Trunks (that's Bulma and Shin-chan's VA).

Zoro and Choppers VAs scare me o.o

of course Zoro's VA scares you, it's the VA for Vegeta and Piccillo(the Namek dude).

as for Chopper: yeah, the voice is too high pitched for the char. it took till the near end of the Water 7 saga for the Japanese to catch that one.

Sanji needs a replacement, FAST...the accent in the 4kids dub worked for him..

I agree with changing Sanji's voice, I assumed he would have a voice similar to the FMA character, with less murderous intent.. but the ended up screwing him over

Eric Vale's fantastic as Sanji. Better than David Moo. He doesn't need an accent. It would clash with his style.

Feel like the only one who misses Usopp's old voice, although the dub does sound a little better.
