lol "We can't give away too much about who he is"

Anyone who's seen him in the cartoon knows that it's Speed's long-lost brother.

I actually have high hopes on this movie.

But let's wait and see.

What...? That's just... No D:

I'm pretty much going to assume nothing from this movie. I'll go in and watch it to be a movie, not an old cartoon adaptation. Only now I know who the mysterious Racer X is. God I wish I didn't see that spoiler...

...dude, the Racer X would stop the cartoon on every episode to pratically yell at us who he was. It's a miracle how you manage to not know it.

Unless he... you know, never watched the series or something.

Ahhh...old memories...great times, bad times. It has been a long time since i've seen the series. Looking back at speed racer...yeah...it's as cheezy as Marvel Vs Capcom 2's music in a Street Fighter Alpha style fighting game...but worst perhaps. The only thing I can hope from this is that it would stay true to the tradition, even stay at it's old cheezy feel. I could agree about the cast, maybe a question or two, but as long as they don't change anything from the cartoon series in the film, I think it would make even people over 30 years old love the show all over again; hell, I would go nuts too, I grew up watching the series.
