You know, the first three episodes are already out.

I don't know if they still have the really bad subtitles or not, though.

-Also, I heard it was quite bad.

I heard it was bad too, however, it's just like people to complain about anything based on anything they love and which isn't perfect.

I never played the Devil May Cry games.

So I don't love the series.

So that means if I watched the anime, I may not hate it for not being what I want it to be.

I have the first two episodes, from a trusted subtitle people (Kuro-Hana, they also did Death Note). So far, the anime's pretty good. There's some annoying little girl character though, who just sticks around to annoy Dante and prettify his shop. Lady also made a return in episode two =O

All in all, it's not that bad. It's an original plot I think, instead of re-doing the games, which I would've enjoyed. Still, some good fight scenes, so I think it's worth it.

Oh, by the way, I've played both the 3rd and first games, but it still bothers me:

What the hell does Dante sells in his shop?

from what I remember from DMC:3 it looks like a bar, he has a pool, jutebox, and I chould of sworn I saw bar stools, so im going with bar.

. . .

I thought it was fairly obvious.

He's a Demon Bounty Hunter. He hunts demons, and gets paid for it.

The shop is just some fung sheui (however you spell it) stuff, aka, Dante likes how it looks.

-At least, I thought it was obvious, and I've only played 3/4 of DMC1 and all of DMC3.

Well, he seems to be good in bussness, how many demon hunters get paid out there? It's not like demons are well know (well, of course, after the Temeni... tem... time... the tower accident it might be rather common knowledge. I mean, it's a friggin' tower popping out of the ground.)

He complained about that once, If I remember correctly...
