Mike McFarland, the voice director of Funimation's dub of the series, has confirmed the new cast for the upcoming Cartoon Network broadcast of the third season of One Piece. The new voices are:

Luffy: Colleen Clinkenbeard
Nami: Luci Christian
Zorro: Chris Sabat
Usopp: Sonny Strait
Sanji: Eric Vale
Chopper: Brina Palencia
Robin: Stephanie Young

I don't care who dubs One Piece, to be honest. I liked the 4kids dub. I liked Sanji's voice actor, I liked Zoro's name change, and I liked just being able to UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCK THEY WERE SAYING MOST OF THE TIME.

All of you who're whining about 4kids' awful dub are being trolls, you know, just vehement trolls whose only redeeming quality is that you're not so much of an idiot in real life.

I didn't like unneccesary accents, puns, cutting out material, changing a person's fate (i.e., Zoro's childhood friend became sick and bedriddened, instead of dying. Sorry, there's a BIG difference), or cartoony effects added in, like the insane villain voice work and fruit names. However, I didn't hate the voice acting. I actually like Nami and Zolo's 4Kids voice actors.

I for one grew accustomed tro the dub and wouldn't mind if they kept it but this will suffice seeing as how this is out of our hands. the way I take it is that you just seem to be upset that they don't have their cartoony asppeal anymore. I wasn't fucking happy with the cartoony appeal either, you retarded asshole. I just watched it, and was happy that it was on-air. I was glad because it was an anime everyone and their fucking GRANDMA had ranted and raved about to me before, and I wanted to keep with the tradition of watching an anime's dub instead of the subs or raws.

It's not a fucking cartoony thing, you dipshit, it's because I have my morals of watching the dub of an anime I want to see, no matter how goddamned horrible it is.

I usually only watch dubs. However, I like dubs to try and to be largely unedited. I'm opposed to censorship. I know it's hard to dub something for the American audiance, but it doesn't mean the dubbers should have to remake every aspect of the show. Also, seriously, why would you ever have to remake an entire soundtrack? Dubs should simply be a translation with a few jokes and references adjusted so they make sense to Americans. That's all I want out a dub.

I wish they had used Tanizaki Yukari's voice actor for Nami.

Same here...had nothing against Zolo or Sanji's voices eiether...but if anything yet me off, it was the silly puns, editting off of blood and cuts, and the fact none of them are allowed to drink beer (Seriously bolks, ROOT beer?! I can just hear the infamous "ba-dum-besh" a mile away)

I'm just kinda curious who's going to voice Enel. The japanese voice actor did him wonderfully, but I'm worried an american one might screw his bad-ass factor by making him all squeaky or something.
