Yes, Don Hertzfeldt is a genious! Just too bad that everyone's ripping off his "style" (Can somebody say Pop-Tart Comercials >.> )

Seen it, but I love when they are banging on the 4th wall.

Sigh, rejected cartoons. A classic in it's own.

If I'm not mistaken, Hertzfeldt DOES do the Pop Tart commercials. The Rejected series is a humorous take on his inability to get advertising work, and then he finally got in in the form of Kellogg's attempt to make Pop Tarts more memorable.

From what I was told, it's not Don Hertzfeldt himself, but someone that had seen and liked his cartoons from the 'Rejected' movie. They were inspired by it enough they started following in his footsteps, and made their cartoons to be out like his.
I'd say that's more like giving the guy some credit and spreading the word, than "ripping off his style".

Indeed those seem to be quite right on the topic but, I highly doubt there Dons work. Mostly because alot of his work is satrical and what not while those comercial are actually doing there job unlike the rejected cartoons.
