There shouldn't be a time descending on how long they stay up. Each song should be sticky so that when people or we want to view the past. We don't have to click on the beginning to see them. I'm bring this to attention, because when I do this I click to go back and it brings me off aka. It's really annoying, the verses are all classics so why not let them stay up no matter how old they are.

Argue.

Illpoetic - April 4, 2005 08:23 PM (GMT)
I agree, I believe every post has the time limit where they disappear unless you click "the beginning"

I'll see if pinning them helps. Thanks for the suggestion.

Illpoetic - April 4, 2005 08:32 PM (GMT)
done. It worked.

Hows that paper coming?

DarkPoet - April 4, 2005 10:07 PM (GMT)
Going to start in tomorrow, just finished my paper on smallpox, now talk about a sad epidemic. That shit is horrible.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 01:01 AM (GMT)
smallpox is sad, wanna see a sad ass epidemic check out ebola, homorrhage from every orifice, talk about a terrible death, kills 95% of the people it infects & no cure.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 02:46 AM (GMT)
I might have to look into them with research. Call me a nerd, but I like to educate my self.

Champion Lover - April 5, 2005 02:59 AM (GMT)
Never be ashamed for educating yourself.... not sure of the name of this virus but one of the most wicked i've heard of was that flesh-eating virus. real ugly. lou gherig's disease is another sad one.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:10 AM (GMT)
I may know what flesh eating virus you are talking about, seems like I learned about it in Zoology, just can't think of the name.

and yeah, educating yourself is never a bad thing, shit I'm a nerd, just not a typical one and I'm proud of it. Put me on the Dean's list twice.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:13 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I guess you can call me a nerd. Not like a pocket protector nerd, or highwater nerd, with my pants pulled up to my belly button. Yet a Sean John wearing, Roca-a-fella having, hip hop trend setter nerd. :ph43r:

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:22 AM (GMT)
I know a girl with neurofibromatosis, if you are familiar with the Elephant Man, that is the disease he had. very rare and very scary. The disease causes tumors to grow on the nervous system and it causes disfigurement due to the overgrowth of skin and bones

SonnyDano - April 5, 2005 03:26 AM (GMT)
^^^now that's horrible. how bad are the tumors? are they like the character in elephant man?

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:27 AM (GMT)
Yeah I just found out that my friend Ryan Evans died. He was alittle slow, not like complete spiecal ed. Just couldn't really comphrehend tougher things. I guess he was stabbed, the sad thing is he was a foster kid, so he had no one that really cared for him. Holy shit, this is sad. I think I'm bout to cry. I just found out like 2 minutes ago.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:28 AM (GMT)
sorry to hear about your friend.

Thanks, this kid was real tho, I mean straight Michael Jackson fan. Shit is sad, but what can you do.

no, she does not have it as bad as Joseph Merrick (The Elephant Man) had it. He had it in the 1800's though and was misdiagnosed with elephantiasis so I'm sure there was no treatment whatsoever, people just thought he was a freakshow. This girl goes to the doctor every 3 months to get checked out and is on medications. You can see some of the disfigurement on her arms, the disease does get worse with age though. I just found out that it is hereditary also.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:36 AM (GMT)
You can't over look how Smallpox has ruled the epidemic ladder for so many centuries. They traced this all the way back to 10,000 B.C. It's said to have killed more than 100,000,000 people. From taking out almost 1/3 of every ancient Indian tribes of the past is an impressive tragedy. That doesn't even sum up the Revolutionary war, and all the other reported cases. Yet Russia and United States won't destroy the last of this viruse, because of ignorance and right to power.

the_punisher_ - April 5, 2005 03:36 AM (GMT)
I am a fuckin' genius, but I'd never call myself a nerd.

That shit is real sad about your friend dying. Sorry for the loss.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:37 AM (GMT)
absolutely, smallpox is definitely at the top of the epidemic list, just throwing out some others.

The Bubonic Plague was terrible too.

Thank you, I just need to get my mind off it.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
a nerd is an intelligent person who studies, reads, researches, or whatever a lot right? thats what I am.

Champion Lover - April 5, 2005 03:40 AM (GMT)
this disease talk is really depressing me

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:41 AM (GMT)
Girls like intelligence, not nerdy, but you get the point. I carry my self, I guess you could say that I don't come close to looking or acting like a nerd, but still I'm very smart when you start a conversation. I don't want to start a conversation with someone that can't keep up with facts and carry one out like I can. If they disagree with my opinions then that's even better conversation.

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:41 AM (GMT)
I'm a biology major, I can't help it.

did you know that a sneeze has 10,000-100,000 microorganisms in it and travels at 10,000 meters/second?

^no, I think that describes a dedicated student. When I think nerd, I think star trek convention and dungeons and dragons. You can be a brilliantly intellectual individual without falling into the nerd category. (IMHO)

Champion Lover - April 5, 2005 03:42 AM (GMT)
ok i'm over it

i would call myself a nerd except my gpa is only a 3.0 so im not that smart i guess

wait i take that back, i am a genius just a little lazy at times

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:44 AM (GMT)
hey you don't have to be the typical urkel nerd. I think the word has picked up a negative connotation, but it is not a bad thing to be really. We just have to stop associating it with highwater pants, suspenders, and star treck halloween outfits (this kid in my middle school really wore this)

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:45 AM (GMT)
btw, 3.0 is an excellent GPA.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)
I think everyone can be a labeled a nerd, just some people don't apply their self to what they can and can't accomplish.

all the grad schools im lookin at require a minimum 3.0 gpa so i tend to not be to happy with the bare minimum. hopefully i'll graduate with a 3.2

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 03:51 AM (GMT)
I have a 3.297 right now, no idea why that isn't rounded off to a 3.3, but I am hoping to graduate undergrad with a solid 3.3 at least.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 03:54 AM (GMT)
I have a 4.0, altho it is High School and I'm still only a freshman. I hope to graduate with nothing under a 3.8. Next year I hope to get a 4.1 with my honors classes I will take.

thats phenomenal, keep that up.

It's sad tho, High School now a days lacks of academic moral. It's pass the student or give up on the student. It's not help the student learn it's make sure the student graduates.

Yeah, teachers just suck. In my whole life i've had one, maybe two teachers who've really made an influence on me. i wanna be a college professor some time in the distant future because if it were up to me i would be running the show a lot different.

DarkPoet - April 5, 2005 04:02 AM (GMT)
What do you expect with athletes get payed 20x more than teachers and doctors.
I don't get it tho, if doctors get paid more then teachers, yet teachers are the reason they are doctors why don't teachers get paid more? What do you expect when we're a nation in debt because of a war the president thought he knew something about, silly Bush!

Illpoetic - April 5, 2005 12:41 PM (GMT)
yep. exactly. though the teacher problem was around before bush took office, I find it absolutely retarded that tax cuts for the rich are being made permanent which will put our country trillions of dollars in deficit. I guess the rich just needed a little welfare and we have to help them right? But when poor people get breaks they are lazy? huh?

SonnyDano - April 5, 2005 11:50 PM (GMT)
i'm nerd. my room is like a library/music store. guitars and tons of little pieces of equipment/repair stuff. literally thousands of cd's, a shitload of books, some i've never read, stacks of newspapers in the corner. a whole dvd "wall. posters of sheet music on my walls and boxes of paintings/drawings. skateboards and a table where i put them together.

if i put as much effort into school as i do into all my other nerdy activities i might've been able to get a full scholarship.
