The paper must be on a current topic that is effected society in a way. Most kids are doing Steroids in Baseball. Or the war in Iraq, it's different for me tho. My teacher has such high expectations that she won't accept a corny subject like thoses. So I've decided to write my paper on Sterotypical Cultures, blend hip hop in it. Showing that the hip hop is an excuse for the government to blame criminal acts that happen, which is bullshit. How if a school is shoot up it's automatically a rapper's lyric that fueled the act of violence. Such and Such examples like that, and how racism is apart of Hip-Hop much greater than we think.

I just want to know if TRU thinks this will get me a A.

It depends on how open minded and unbiased your teacher is to the subject of Hip-Hop on a whole. Sounds like a good way to cover the topic and incorporate somethin you enjoy so im sure you'll put more effort into the paper. But im not sure if its something that effects society in general, more society effects the way Hip-Hop is portrayed. But if you do go with this topic i would like to read a copy of it and see what you had to say.

yeah, you should post it on TRU when it's finished. I know "A" material and to be honest, no matter what the subject is as long as you can get your point across clearly, then you should be in good shape.

The paper is a good idea. On the topic we were just referring to, I think it would be interesting to compare the treatment of shock rock and Hip-Hop to show how they are both blamed for a lot of things and stereotyped. Shows two different aspects.
