if anyone knows which of these is a better product let me know because my mp3 player is only 256Mb and I'm wanting to upgrade, the 2 that have caught my eye are the pocket dj and the iPod mini, the pocket dj is priced better but I need to know which is better quality.

Because the memory in these two is nearly the same, & they both dont dont use flash memory it makes their prices pretty reasonalbe for both. Ipod's arent able to resist as much damage as the pocket DJ, if you think any will happen at all...& it's complicated for some people to use the sysyem of uploading songs with apple. I have a mini now, & its great quality & all but I really like the dell DJ too, but its really all about price & what your willing to invest in.

Even though the battery life has improved in the iPod, I switched from Apple to Dell and even though mine is the Dell DJ previous generation, it is one tough cookie and the new one along the line. Battery life is better on the Dell still.
