Title: Top Group For 2004

D-Block - One album released and geez that got a buzz. A member who only gave out freestyles and they were single quality material. One is releasse his first album and is anticipating. The last member had a solid album last year and rode that the beginning of this year. And they as a whole came out with good stuff. A full year for the members of Yonkers.

Mobb Deep - They got the big money signing and took time to make a return to being a good group again. With help from the best producer, Alchemist, and Havoc's own steady climb to top tier producer levels, the beats they released all year was top notch. And with Prodigy finally not believeing he is the best and knowing he needed to improve, it showed. And a whole, The Infamous all had a great year.

The Roots - The Tippin' Point will be a classic years from now. They are just harmoniously in tune with one another, that a bunch of jam sessions were good enough to be a complete album. Not enough props for each member of the band besides the visible two.

Boot Camp Clik - It is hard for an idie label to get their music out there. Total Eclipse was the album no one heard last year and their contributions releasing mixtapes with Sean Price, Smiff -N- Wessun, Starang Wondah and Boot Camp as a whole for the Booz Ent. stripper video. And these guys freestyling is where they are at their best.
