Lets see, it’s been almost three months since the server change to a .net site and I’ve noticed that some affiliates have not updated their links. I’d like to think I’ve given any diligent webmaster enough time to do so. Therefore, this is the last warning to all affiliates that are still linking to the old .com url. In one week, if your links are not changed your site will be dropped from the affiliate list. This is nothing more than an effort to clean up dead links. Thank you for understanding. You can expect some updates to my fanfic within the coming weeks. Other than that I hope everyone had a fun and productive summer.

oh come on, big deal, people havnt change the link, any way, who cares? there are much better sites out there than aerie of the roc, its a dead site as far as most people are concerned, only a few are keeping the community alive, like gsrealm, the 4 lighthouses, mars lighthouse to name a few, dont be so stuffy about the affiliates links!

you know what, im tired of this. Tired of everybody from different forums mocking us because we are not as popular as them. So a word of advice to 4 lighthouses, or gsar, if you send another messanger her to make fun of our site im going to bash your head in with a metal bat, clean out your insides with an army knife and roast you :angry:

I took a great offense to that comment about Aerie of the Roc being a dead site. For your information (whoever you are) Four Lighthouses was dropped from the Aerie's affiliate list because they haven't updated for months and months. I'm currently working on another chapter in my fanfic, The Fifth Age. After that, I'll start more walkthrough content for The Lost Age. How many sites out there can actually boast an original walkthrough for either game? Lets see:

really, people like that should be ignored. im guessing that they are doing it for attention in their sad, pathetic lives. the more you send threats and the things the more they are going to love it. i think they should just be ignored.

Hi everybody, I just came from GSAR after hearing about this post, and no I was not sent here, I came by my own free will :} . Honestly, I'm rather upset about that little post I'm quoting. I know for a fact that niether GSAR nor The Four Lighthouses (nor any other large GS site) would send anybody to do soomething stupid like that. I know that's not the point of this topic, but please refrain from making comments like that. Aerie of the Roc is a great site, anybody who makes a comment saying it's a dead site, or that it's no good compared to other sites is a jerk. Don't blame other site's for their behavior. So uh, yeah... that's all I have to say on that topic.

Err, about that. It's a really bad idea to say things like that ;) . You were asking and I couldn't help myself. What I (or anybody else) can do with your IP address. Well besides the obvious (hacking) they can get a lot of personal info. For example, I now know where you live, not just what country, I actually know your street address. I also know your ISP, if I wanted to I could find out a lot more. I'm not going to, but just be warned, don't tell people your IP address and say "What can you do?" ;) .

EDIT: Oops, small error with that, I know you're ISPs street address, not your house address. But you're probably within a few miles of it, and I could still use that info to get your house address. So it wasn't a huge mistake lol.

Yes, I noticed that. While the number of members in these forums are smaller than the 'larger' GS sites (and once again, that's not meant in a bad way), proportionally this site is much more active. And as for joining you for real, it's unlikely but chances are you'll still see me around once and a while.
