Title: How Long have you gone without GS?
Description: Tell how and why

Max - January 18, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
What was the longest you have ever gone without ever touching or playing with anything to do with Golden Sun? After I've heard a few of your responses, I will tell you how long I[I] have gone without it...And believe me, it was quite long.(at least for me)

Marlin ßeta - January 19, 2004 03:05 AM (GMT)
Lets see. I've probably gone about a month without playing Golden Sun (well the month of December at least). I had to review I-Ninja for Marlin Gaming, so that's the main reason. I stay pretty true to the game (you kind of have to when you're the webmaster of a Golden Sun site, right?). I just finished writing another walkthrough section a few minutes ago.

SuicuneSol - January 19, 2004 04:21 AM (GMT)
2 days.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 19, 2004 08:45 AM (GMT)
I don't know. Whatever time span it was between me finishing Golden Sun and waiting for the Lost Age to come out.

Max - January 20, 2004 03:06 AM (GMT)
Hmm...I spent about 5 or 6 months without ever touching my Golden Sun game...That was because I had lost my gameboy advance and golden sun game for that whole time. I eventually found them both though...it was stuck in one of those heating/air conditioning vents in my house. It was just a little dirty, but after I cleaned it up it was working as good as always.

SuicuneSol - January 20, 2004 03:34 AM (GMT)
That's quite a story Max. Did you visit any Golden Sun sites while it was lost because they count too.

Alex the Evil - January 20, 2004 05:20 AM (GMT)
Ooh... 3 months. You see, I thought it would bring good luck if I didn't play for a while, so I didn't. And it didn't work because -must I say it? *hint doom dragon*

Silver Chaos Adept - January 20, 2004 08:44 AM (GMT)
Try praying to the powers that be (copy & paste) to give you strength to beat the Doom Dragon.

Max - January 20, 2004 08:53 PM (GMT)
Um...I don't think I did. Anyway, I was just about ready to forget about Golden Sun before my mom finally found it again. I was so happy when she did.

SuicuneSol - January 20, 2004 10:19 PM (GMT)
I think we should all thank your mom. Without her I don't think you'ed even be here.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 21, 2004 12:38 PM (GMT)
That would be a tradigie. PS I think I lost my copy of Golden Sun, as well as a few of some of my other GBA games. Meep.

Marlin ßeta - January 21, 2004 03:53 PM (GMT)
Yeah. That's a scary thought. Me though, there's no way I can lose anything that I own. I have everything extremely well-organized. B)

Silver Chaos Adept - January 21, 2004 04:51 PM (GMT)
I have an open-area filing system, which means I chuck everything on the floor, and then have to sift through piles of paper/clothes/pens/overdue homework/game cases to find whatever I need. It's unlike me to lose GBA games though. I'm so careful with them. Maybe my bratty sisters took them, which is unlikely as they don't have my GBA....

Max - January 22, 2004 03:31 AM (GMT)
Wow, you're right...I wouldn't be here. Actually, it's thanks to my inability to find Djinn that I ended up here. I was looking for a site with information and Djinn locations, I found this one, clicked the wrong button and ended up in these forums. Just what would this place be like without a sophisticated guy like me? :D

SuicuneSol - January 22, 2004 03:34 AM (GMT)
It was fate that brought you here. It was your destiny to join this forum.

Max - January 22, 2004 03:38 AM (GMT)
Fate? No such thing. What brought me here was basically an accident. I just happened to get a good reception by the people here. I do not believe in things that are "meant to be." Life is not predestined, and my life is mine to control.

SuicuneSol - January 22, 2004 05:12 AM (GMT)
I wasn't that serious back there Max. I was just....sayin' it. I'd say more about fate, but then I think that would lead us into the subject of religion which I'd like to avoid.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 22, 2004 11:20 AM (GMT)
Yeah I guess... We should avoid religeon and stuff. And I think we should avoid occult stuff too. Like Ronins and stuff.

Max - January 22, 2004 09:20 PM (GMT)
Puh. Pansies. Oh well, whatever...yea I agree, stay away from the occult. That stuff is weird...and anyone who practices it is weird too, I don't care who you are.

Marlin ßeta - January 23, 2004 06:28 PM (GMT)
Yeah. God and fate kind of go hand-in-hand. Best not to think about it. :ninja: Oh, and no devil worshipers. :frown:

Silver Chaos Adept - January 23, 2004 06:35 PM (GMT)
I can't believe people really are thick enough to worship devils... Oh and Max, not all those who are interested in occult are weirdos. :frown:

SuicuneSol - January 23, 2004 11:32 PM (GMT)
What do you mean Silver? ^_^ *mutters something*
I practice psyenergy.

Max - January 23, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Silver...if I didn't know any better...I'd say you practice witchcraft! WITCH! WITCH! Cast her off a high cliff, throw her in the sea!
Burn her at the stake and end this devilry!
Ah nothin like starting a good witch hunt...it's a paranoid puritan village all over again.

SuicuneSol - January 23, 2004 11:44 PM (GMT)
Uh oh. I hope you don't scare her away.

Max - January 24, 2004 04:25 AM (GMT)
I hope I didn't either...witch or no, these forums would feel a lot more empty without Silver.

Lor - January 24, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
witch hunt muwahhahaha. better get robin(if anyone understands this, ll give them a prize).

Max - January 25, 2004 03:57 AM (GMT)
Er...sorry...I don't get it...p'raps I'm just that dumb...

Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 04:02 AM (GMT)
Hmmm. Let me see. Robin was the Japanese name for Isaac. And Jenna's second base fire class is Witch, right? And Jenna has a crush on Isaac. :...: Okay, you fill in the blank.

Max - January 25, 2004 04:06 AM (GMT)
Could you have made that reference any more vague? jeez, no one woulda guessed that.

Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 04:15 AM (GMT)
Well at least I took a guess. <_< You didn't even try Max :...: :}

SuicuneSol - January 25, 2004 06:03 AM (GMT)
Oh yeah....
I thought it was Robin from Batman...

Lor - January 25, 2004 03:20 PM (GMT)
nope i was talking about the anime series witch hunter robin hehehehhee i didnt think anyone could get it.

Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 05:06 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Marlin ßeta @ Jan 25 2004, 10:48 AM)
Oh. And Master-Adept. I've changed your signature. I'm sorry, but that image was really getting on my nerves.

I just wanted to restate why your signature is different.

Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 03:37 PM (GMT)
Well that doesn't make sense. This is a Golden Sun forum. Not an anime forum.

SuicuneSol - January 25, 2004 03:39 PM (GMT)
If Marlin happened to get it right what would you give him?

Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 03:48 PM (GMT)
What would he give me? I don't want anything. <_< Oh. And Master-Adept. I've changed your signature. I'm sorry, but that image was really getting on my nerves.

SuicuneSol - January 25, 2004 03:50 PM (GMT)
This is for Alex himself. He said he would give a prize to whomever gets the question right.

Max - January 26, 2004 12:40 AM (GMT)
There is no prize. The only reward he gave was Marlin getting rid of his annoying picture for a signature, though he probably doesn't even realize it yet.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 27, 2004 11:28 AM (GMT)
Max. Firstly, the term I prefer is 'Mage Acolyte'. Witchcraft is something else. I guess you could call me an Adept though, since Mages and Adepts overlap in places. Oh and Suicune? What element do you use? Also, WTF is hunter Robin??? And Max, I don't hold with Ronins and Necromancy and stuff. Please don't burn me.

SuicuneSol - January 27, 2004 02:19 PM (GMT)
What element am I? Water.
