Well, thsi topic should be in the general section. I'm sure a mod will move it if the happen to see it. Anyway..... Neopets, what to say? Another monster thing that appeals to little kids that they decided to make money off of by making toys and cards and everything out of it.

I have a neopets name. I barely do anything with it anymore, but I pull some interesting business buying items and selling tehm for more. I also get my daily interest at the bank(All I want is to make a fortune and I don't feel like playing the games. (All the best ones are ripoffs of good games and suck by comparison with the real things. (That's my personal opinion. I hope that I have offended no one)))

I hate using different forms of grouping symbols, except absolute value, that's more than just grouping.

If X> 0 then X/|X| = 1
If X< 0 then X/|X| = -1
If X^(is i-er than) 0 then X/|X| = i
If Xv(is less i than) 0 then X/|X| = -1
(assuming it's not a complex number)
If X = 0 then X/|X| = 0
Oops... This last thing is false (0/0 = undefined or something, duh!)
That's why I love the expression X/|X|; it returns the sign of X.

ok, well, |X| = absolute value of X, and the / is a fraction bar. X over the absolute value of X can be equal to 1 or -1, depending on whether X was positive or negative to begin with. If X is positixe, X/|X| = 1. And if X is negative, X/|X| = -1. Understand it now?

why do you want a neopet address the only neopet I want is the dragon guy but I dont go there
