I’ve finally finished the new layout for the Aerie. I’m still making a few final revisions, but I think Tundra Lichens is pretty sharp. There is also a new fanfic by SuicuneSol, one of my forum’s moderators. I have not yet had time to read it, but he has received some tremendous reviews. I strongly urge you to go and read it. Welcome to the quiet slump. *Sigh* I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, the Aerie is going to hang in for the long haul during this draught of information between games two and three. I’d also like to extend to the Adepts’ Refuge my condolences for anything that my have been damaged by the hackers. Cinder over at GS Realm has also found an interesting article mentioning GS III. I’m writing it off as nothing more than a rumor for the time being (I’ve had far too many disappointments). However, you can check it out here if you are intrigued.

If you want a comment, I'll say that it looks okay, but it needs some cleaning up. I mean the red background looked very neat and clean. But the blue one doesn't look so neat.

I took a look at it and it looks very nice it needs to be blended better, So I recomend using Adobe Image Ready along with Photo shop then apply it to the site

wow that's a nice layout. It's different to the old one but, still as good maybe better.

hmmm, not bad but have you ever tried mixing colors? like whenever i had to make a title in computer lab, i mixed aqua and red together, it made the color look amazing.

I'm going to be doing some more revisions on the layout. It's not smooth enough. You're all right. It needs to be more consistent and flow better.

oh i type in the roc's nest and i go to the page where somebody complemented on my sig and asked why is the nest so dead? i usually use that link to here when im on a different log in or computer ^_^

I usually have to type in the URL. I've dealt with a lot of IF forums so know the invision forum standard URL. But, wither way.

Oh, yes and the layout....Very nice. The Blue is a very nice color. Excellent job editing the old Roc feathers. I also like the wing-like pic on the other side. Makes it less monotonous. However, as some have already said, the background doesn't really go with the rest of the layout. Might I suggest something more along the lines of Hex#013554 or Hex#013C5F? Either one would look a lot better.

Well, it's the dog days of summer and everyone is probably outside and doesn't have enough time to visit the forums. I used to visit the Roc's Nest every day at school for at least two hours. Then, again for another hour or two in the evening. Personally, I think we need to have some kind of contest. Maybe a drawing contest? Or maybe we can start a topic where we go all over the internet posting links to our favorite Golden Sun screenshots? Hey. I'm trying to liven things up a little.

As for the Aerie's layout, I'll be posting a small revision real soon. Dang. I also need to type up chapter 21 of my fanfic. 8| So much to do and so little time. :sad:

Hmmm. I see your point. However, the quote comes from a PG-13 source. You were right, this site is for all ages. But I'm not going to sacrifice something cool and flavorful just to cater to those in a minority age group (people that young rarely visit this site anyway). B)

No I believe before there were little sprites of Ivan, Garet, and Jenna. I think Mars Lighthouse was on there also. Not to mention Tundra Lichens 2.0 and so yeah.

Heh. I was hoping someone would ask that. Well, a "teal" is actually a kind of duck. It also reminds me of this girl I knew back in high school (I had her in one of my classes, then never saw her again). Her name was Teal and she actually said that she was named after the duck. Interesting story. :D

Green is better. Not blue. I've seen enough blue in GSR. Red is ok as well. Purple is just great because it's so unique.

If you have seen i doubht it though.But if u have seen fire emblem fusion it is easily found in google it has a very nice background it uses a blue colour i love it please try and have a look.
