you mean Anima the user or Anima the thing he got it from? Well, Anima the user is Wind, and Anima the thing he got it from is the final summon in Final Fantasy X. If I remember reading correctly. I never actually got very far in that game.

Yeah, Anima is basically female. I went through the trouble of getting it. The fayth for Anima is really (Kind of a spoiler for those who didn't go that extra distance or hasn't gotten that far)
Seymour's mother. She transformed herself into a fayth so that Seymour could be strong enough to go on his own. But that only made him thirst for more power... And then he found sin. The final aeon always merged with Sin, making him come back. That's why he wanted to marry Yuna. So that he could become the final Aeon and be Sin. Oh wait...why am I saying all this? Nobody cares. Oh well. I hope you enjoyed this little ramble of mine.
