Hmm, how many people have asked this? Lets see.... *counting* I don't remember how many. if you'd go to the GS:TLA help section, you'd find quite a few topics asking this question, they'd help you. But alas, I am too kind. I'll just tell you here. Tundaria Tower, on Tundaria, the southern most continent. You'll need to get to the top of the tower and burst, then go to the bottom and burst the ice block that has the prong in it. There, happy? ^_^

thanks alot! heehee, finally, get to go attack poseidon, heh heh. :}
God of the Black Flame: Canti - May 29, 2004 02:02 AM (GMT)
Do you know Yepp's song? It'll help you get through the whirlpools.
...perhaps - May 29, 2004 02:15 AM (GMT)
You really don't need it at all, as long as you know about spinning around the stumps.
caliba - May 29, 2004 02:30 AM (GMT)
i got 2 poseidon without the trident, before i knew u needed it. how much life does he have? ack, hope he aint as hard as the serpent.....lol
SuicuneSol - May 29, 2004 02:37 AM (GMT)
You can get to him without the Trident. But you won't beat him without it! That's why it's logical to get the Trident first before you attempt to go into the Sea of Time. In this area of the game, I went to the sea of time first. But when I found I could not hurt Poseidon, and died, I just decided to explore all over the sea. Eventually, I ran into the Ankhol Ruins. Then Gaia Rock, Aqua Rock, and Tundaria because I wanted to know what was at the bottom continent, then I remembered that I had missed a djinni back in the Shrine. So I went them and found the Prong by accident. Then I soon discovered Briggs and----err....oops I revealing a little too much aren't I?

You will usually get to poseidon before you get the trident. It's a likely occurance, because you're really supposed to be trying to hurry up and get to Lemuria. I wonder if it could be possible to kill the serpent without doing the light stuff if you did enough damage in one round. (his life refills after each round, which implies that he has life, which implies that you can kill him if you can only do enough damage.) You could even get a lot of the Eastern Sea djinn before fighting it, and if you got your levels maxed, beat the game, and did easy mode, that, I'm pretty sure, is enough to kill that thing in one round. So the only question that remains is whether it has limited life first.

hmmmm i went 2 champa after briggs left alhafra, and i met up with Feizhi frum gs1! it was totally cool. :}
SuicuneSol - May 29, 2004 02:48 AM (GMT)
It is possible to kill the serpent without shining the light on it. I almost succeeded, but I never did. He was too hard.
But Poseidon, you can get to him and try to kill him anytime you want! But, it's impossible to beat him without the Trident.
...perhaps - May 29, 2004 02:48 AM (GMT)
WHO from GS1? I don't quite follow you.
Awesome about the serpent. I'm proud of them. Of course not Poseidon, he's actually invincible. I wonder what would happen if you attacked the serpent with half the lights. Never tried it.
Sorry had double post for a while. I didn't realize 'cause I was replying to something that was said while I was typing.
caliba - May 29, 2004 02:56 AM (GMT)
cool. Feizhi, u had 2 rescue Hsu(he was trapped under a boulder) she was from this place where a bunch of people were working out. It's funny because she said she wanted to repay Isaac for saving Hsu, and Kraden taunts her about being in love with Isaac. Jenna got all mad, heh heh.

Sounds like a bad cartridge to me, or not...
SuicuneSol - May 29, 2004 03:30 AM (GMT)
God of the Black Flame: Canti - May 29, 2004 03:50 AM (GMT)
No, it's supposed to happen. I don't think you can get through the game w/o doing it.
caliba - May 29, 2004 01:17 PM (GMT)
lol. my friend went 2 Champa before Briggs got there, and Feizhi didn't show up, but Alex, Karst and Agatio did. In mine, Feizhi showed up, and when she left, alex and them came. ;)
God of the Black Flame: Canti - May 29, 2004 04:55 PM (GMT)
Well there are certain events that can be triggered in GS2 if you fulfilled certain conditions in GS1 and transferred your game.
...perhaps - May 29, 2004 05:41 PM (GMT)
I didn't know that. That's interesting though.
sol_blade - May 30, 2004 08:57 PM (GMT)
Silver Chaos Adept - June 2, 2004 11:06 AM (GMT)
Yes. I think if you transfer data, you run into the thieves from GS, the ones in Vault.
the_isaac - June 2, 2004 06:54 PM (GMT)
and the colosso dudes. and get an orichalcon from hammet..
...perhaps - June 2, 2004 09:35 PM (GMT)
I did sorta know about that, but I kinda thought/think that you just have to transfer. Don't forget about the guys that know you beat Deadbeard.
the_isaac - June 2, 2004 09:38 PM (GMT)
yeah well that's nothing too big. But it's a bit cool :}
...perhaps - June 2, 2004 09:59 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I wish there was more to it.
the_isaac - June 3, 2004 07:47 AM (GMT)
yeah. Like if you actually got a crew. That'd be cool.
...perhaps - June 3, 2004 07:24 PM (GMT)
Yeah, something like that.
Flames Inferno - June 13, 2004 11:21 AM (GMT)
is dullaham gsun2s deadbeard
the_isaac - June 13, 2004 06:25 PM (GMT)
1st. He's dullahan (not ham) 2nd. I think so.
God of the Black Flame: Canti - June 14, 2004 01:53 AM (GMT)
He is. Both are sidequest bosses that are harder than the actual game's bosses.
Flames Inferno - June 17, 2004 08:25 PM (GMT)
the boss at the end of the game is just so easy i defeat him after my like 8th go now
the_isaac - June 17, 2004 08:36 PM (GMT)
I defeated him on my first try
Flames Inferno - June 18, 2004 05:37 PM (GMT)
wot level were you wen u first got 2 da doom dragon
God of the Black Flame: Canti - June 20, 2004 06:25 AM (GMT)
He was at a high level. He likes to train a lot. I don't. It took me a while to beat him the first time. Now I can beat the dragon on my first try too, even if I am only at level 40 or so.
Flames Inferno - June 20, 2004 07:27 PM (GMT)
i think djinn are most important in battles
the_isaac - June 20, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
I find super strong attacks important
God of the Black Flame: Canti - June 21, 2004 05:21 AM (GMT)
I find summons most important.
Flames Inferno - June 21, 2004 05:19 PM (GMT)
i defeated the sepent without shining any light on him cause i started on easy mode (where your characters are on high levels)and mine were on 70 something and i beat him, just use high impact alot before you use tour best attacks
the_isaac - June 21, 2004 08:33 PM (GMT)
it's impossible. you can't defeat the serpent without shining light on it. it will be invincible then.
God of the Black Flame: Canti - June 22, 2004 05:58 AM (GMT)
no, it is possible. Remember, the dude was poisoning him with water.
Flames Inferno - June 22, 2004 07:40 PM (GMT)
no hest got like 10,000 hp and if he survives ur attacks he just recovers all his hp after your attacks so it isnt impossible
