Title: Lemuria

Marlin ßeta - January 4, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
Felix has nothing to do with cats. End of story.

Lor - November 25, 2003 09:38 PM (GMT)
Recently ive realized how much i like Lemuria and how much credit it doesnt get for being a good town. i think Lemuria is awesome. i wonder what it was like in the golden age? dang i wish i new <_< :(

Marlin ßeta - November 26, 2003 03:23 AM (GMT)
I think Lemuria isn't noticed that much as a good town is because the only major items you get in Lemuria are from the fountain. Not only that, but the items you get from the fountain are not a huge power-up to your arsenal of weapons for a decent part of the game. Most weapons and armor are obsolete by the time you have completed the trial road at Shaman Village. Lemuria doesn't have a major item shop, so it kind of gets ignored. I agree. Lemuria should get more respect than it currently does. Lemuria is such a huge part of the plotline of The Lost Age. It needs more recognition. :ph43r:

Silver Chaos Adept - December 28, 2003 08:32 PM (GMT)
I've not been to Lemuria, tell me, does everone have funky blue hair like Picard? That would be cool. :D

Marlin ßeta - December 29, 2003 05:16 AM (GMT)
YEP!!! All LEMURIANS have blue hair. There are a few people in Lemuria who are not Lemurians. They have "normal" hair (actually I think there is only one non-Lemurian in Lemuria. I'll let you find out who).

Silver Chaos Adept - December 29, 2003 10:48 AM (GMT)
COOLIES!!!! I gotta go there!! :D Heh, a whole townful of Picards.... :D

Mist: <_<

Luff: Can I say something?

Mist: <_< No.

Luff: What about a townful of Jupiter Adepts? :D

Mist:  Yeah right!

Well then how does your boat- oops, spoiler warning! :D

Mist: <_<

:D

Marlin ßeta - December 29, 2003 05:18 PM (GMT)
I'm glad I inspired you to press on with your game. :D

Max - December 30, 2003 08:42 PM (GMT)
Why did the game makers change Picard's name to Piers anyway? Is it because it reaches over the stupid 5-letter limit for a name?

Marlin ßeta - December 31, 2003 03:47 AM (GMT)
They changed everybody’s name. Isaac is Robin in the Japanese version. Felix is Garcias in the Japanese version. Mia is Mary in the Japanese version. Jenna is Jasmine. Saturos is Satyros (or something like that).

Max - December 31, 2003 09:29 PM (GMT)
Well then...it looks like they changed most of their names for the better. *Snicker* Robin...what kind of parent would name their son after a dumb ol bird?

Marlin ßeta - January 1, 2004 02:40 AM (GMT)
What about Robin Hood? I don’t think of the bird when I think of him. :o

Silver Chaos Adept - January 1, 2004 04:21 PM (GMT)
No comment. I'm glad he's Isaac now. It fits, if you get me. And Felix is a cool name. But he's not very cat-like, is he?

Marlin ßeta - January 2, 2004 03:12 AM (GMT)
Felix? Cat? What’s that from? Or maybe rather, who’s that?

Silver Chaos Adept - January 2, 2004 10:07 AM (GMT)
It's from the latin, Felis=cat. :D Learn something new every day.

Max - January 3, 2004 02:41 AM (GMT)
Whoa whoa whoa....wait a minute. Felix means cat? Ugh...I hate cats. They stink up houses. They pee on things. And when they pee, it smells. Very bad. I now hate the name Felix.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 3, 2004 12:06 PM (GMT)
Hehehe..... I like the name Felix, personally, despite having an evil cat.

Max - January 4, 2004 01:05 AM (GMT)
I think all cats are evil, personally.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 4, 2004 09:42 AM (GMT)
Good. Still at least Felix is better then Garcia. By the way, which is better, Squall or Lavio? I need to tell my friend that Squall is a better name then Lavio, but I need some backup.....

Marlin ßeta - January 4, 2004 04:35 PM (GMT)
Lavio? What’s Lavio? I’m going to need more than that to back you up legitimately.

Max - January 5, 2004 12:20 AM (GMT)
Hey...isn't a squall another word for a native american woman? Or is that squaw?

Marlin ßeta - January 5, 2004 01:03 AM (GMT)
It’s squaw, yes. And I was thinking. Lavio. Did you mean Lalivero?

Alex the Evil - January 5, 2004 11:45 AM (GMT)
Lavio? *is lost*

Silver Chaos Adept - January 5, 2004 12:36 PM (GMT)
* sighs* In Final Fantasy 8, the main character is called Squall. My friend calls Squall Lavio, for some reason. I think Squall is a cool name and shouldn't be 'dissed' so I keep telling her to call him Squall. But she refuses. NOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER?????

Alex the Evil - January 6, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
I like Squall. It has the letter 'a' in it. Wait, so does Lavio. But I still like Squall

Max - January 7, 2004 12:13 AM (GMT)
Eh...ok...I'm stayin outta this...

Silver Chaos Adept - January 7, 2004 11:19 AM (GMT)
:D Go Squall! * cheers* Even though he is a git, kinda. Silent boys get all the girls.

Marlin ßeta - January 7, 2004 07:55 PM (GMT)
Squall? Hmmm. Sounds like a djinni. Oh well. I suppose the traditional name is better than one that somebody makes up.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 8, 2004 08:41 AM (GMT)
Well said. :D

Marlin ßeta - January 8, 2004 05:15 PM (GMT)
Yeah. I mean, what if somebody started calling Link (Legend of Zelda, here) Patches? That wouldn’t make any sense. Mmm-Hmmm. Yep. Squall.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 9, 2004 12:45 PM (GMT)
Actually, I think Squall is the name of a Jupiter Djinn. Squall is a type of wind or something like that. Go look it up.

Marlin ßeta - January 9, 2004 06:16 PM (GMT)
Yes. Squall is the Jupiter djinni you find in Altmiller Cave in the first Golden Sun. :D

Max - January 10, 2004 06:55 PM (GMT)
...Sorry, but Silver, you say that silent boys get all the girls? Dang, I wish that was true...believe it or not, but I'm one of the most quiet kids in the 9th grade. I don't see any girls flocking around me...

Silver Chaos Adept - January 11, 2004 02:29 PM (GMT)
Awwww poor Max! :D BTW, where do you get the Trident pieces forged together? I have all 3 prongs but that ************** Sunshine won't forge them. Plus I can now get throught the Sea of Time. :D

Max - January 11, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
Hmmm...Silver, for expressing sympathy for me, I will tell you. Take them to the village of Champa, north of the sea of time. You have to take it all the way up in the cave in Champa, following the path, and then you'll meet Captain Briggs Gramma. After fighting her beast, you will be able to forge your trident.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 13, 2004 08:40 AM (GMT)
YAY I WENT TO LEMURIA!!!! Awwww..... poor Picard.... I am now stuck on Jupiter Lighthouse though. <_< Am debating whether I should use my password or a better one. My one, I think.

Marlin ßeta - January 14, 2004 09:37 PM (GMT)
You probably need to get the Hover psynergy from Hesperia first. That's what I did wrong when I first found Jupiter Lighthouse.

Max - January 15, 2004 02:15 AM (GMT)
Ugh yeah I spent at least an hour trying to figure out how to get past that purple part in Jupiter Lighthouse. Who woulda thought I needed Hover? I didn't know...

Marlin ßeta - January 15, 2004 02:55 AM (GMT)
Yeah. That part of the game was a honeydew as far as a melon scratcher goes. :} If you take my meaning that is.

Silver Chaos Adept - January 15, 2004 11:12 AM (GMT)
Say what Marlin? Anyway, I am only one lighthouse away from completing my misson to do all the lighthouses without guides..... Now I shall head to Magma Rock... <_<
