i was browsing some sites and i came across a message that said 'well alex is stuck at the top of the 2nd one, so maybe he'll come back if theres a 3rd one'. can anyone confirm this? because if they make a third one *starts taking deep breaths* what if u played as alex? Play as Alex? Are you crazy? Alex is the bad guy. Why would you want to play as him? He’s not even all-powerful. Alex and Isaac are…oops, I almost blurted out another secret at the end of The Lost Age. Well, anyway, I wouldn’t want to play as Alex. He’s the evil one that has to go down. He’s the one that will use psynergy to wage wars, gather power and destroy Weyard! I want to do everything to stop him from doing that. Which means that I would rather play from Isaac’s point of view again. Lastly, why would you want to play from the antagonists’ point of view? You’d have to lose in order to keep the storyline strait. That wouldn’t be any fun!

not necissarily. they could just make a new storyline. but as for playing as alex i guess what i mean is i wish you could create your own party members. like customize there element and what type they are like healer or well you know what i mean. hey you got aol marlin?

No. I don’t use instant messengers. Anyway, your description of an Alex affiliated Golden Sun sounds like Final Fantasy III or RPG Maker. That doesn’t sound very Golden Sunny. ;) :D Anyway, it’s not a bad idea by any means. Those kinds of games are very interesting and adaptable to a wide range of people. I just don’t know how a storyline would run on a game like that. Very interesting. Tell me more. :)

hmm well what would it would be like is before you start a game, you customize your characters appearence and class and so forth, then u pick around 10(not sure exactly) psynergy powers, then you would recieve them throughout the game. it would be primarily based on how you choose to play it. if you choose say 4 mars adepts(marlin ^_^ )then you would be based in a cold world, where most of the bosses are water typed. or if you choose for mercury adepts(ME BOOYAH :lol: ), then you would start out in lemuria and play on from there, and having alot of fire bosses. also the way you could make antagonists is like anti-hero, kinda like hjis dark double, like the same powers n stuff, but more powerful.

Well, I guess that is a possibility for how the game would run out, but I’m just worried that such a game would have a constantly shifting storyline. The plot would be different each time you played it. One of the great things about Golden Sun is that the story is continuous each time you play it. You can delve deeper into the plot each time you play it and learn some of the hidden details you didn’t see the first time around. A very shaky storyline frightens me. :huh: I usually play video games for the storyline, not the battles. Sure, I know that sounds a little “high class,” B) but I’m definitely not your typical gamer (in fact, I secretly want a few great video games to raise as beacons to society that are so well planned and developed that they become as respected as the works of Shakespeare). :ph43r: I see Golden Sun as one such possible game, and such a radical alteration to the plotline that you are suggesting makes me worried. :unsure:

Yes, I remember reading Alex’s mind in Madra, and if I remember right, he was thinking that Mia was a spineless, interfering weakling. So you see, Alex hates Mia. Cut and dry. No ifs, ands or buts. <_<

Well, if you read Alex's mind in Jupiter Lighthouse, he wishes he could help Mia, and he even shows some admiration for Mia...i remember nothing about him thinking of her as spineless weakling...
