Go to the top floor and you will fight this lizard thing, then Briggs's grandma will say that she won't protect him. Then...well, when you get done with the talking and you can leave, don't leave. Go over to the grandma and she will put the trident together for you. Use reveal to reach it.

how do you get hard mode? I've beaten him twice but i dunno if it was hardmode

you get hard mode once you've beaten the game once. It basically gievs the enemy way more attack and defence and health.. it's pretty difficult in the beginning before you get to the insides of sea of time islet...

briggs house? you mean in champa? when you have got to the top there is an old lady that tries to kill you with litte doll salamander. when you have deafeated her you can give her the trident peices and she will put it back together.

where's the lady with the doll?

in the top of the building. Just climb it with instinct. That's what I did ^_^

(you get into champa, go forwards until you see a cutscene with briggs escaping. Then just follow him into the building and climb it to reach the top, where you will see him cowering behind his mother)

That's the problem. When I enter Champa there is no cutscene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but have you fixed the boat yet? you have to get all the things off of the sail. And then some stuff will happen. And then finally he will be there.

you have to use grind on the rock to get rid of it

nothing will happen if you use grind. you must use burst on this stone.

yeh u get grind in lemuria and 2 get 2 lemuria u need trident so u need 2 fite avimander in champa
