Title: Errors in Golden Sun.
braveknight3000 - March 14, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
I found a lot of spelling mistakes in GS. When your in the shamen village cave and you are confronted by the knight people, Isaac says "so you think I cheatd just becuase I used my Pynergy abilities in Colosso?" You would think the Camelot people would check their work.
Alex the Evil - March 15, 2004 04:39 PM (GMT)
Well, in Izumo, if you use mind read on one of the people then there is an error. I totally forgot who and what the error was, but it was there.
Marlin ßeta - March 15, 2004 05:09 PM (GMT)
In Anemos Sanctum, there is a part where you must push a wooden pillar onto a switch to open a door. Well, if you walk too close to the pillar while it's on top of the switch, you'll actually jump on top of the pillar and you'll be stuck because there's no way for you to jump down. The only way out is to cast retreat or turn off your game.
Alex the Evil - March 15, 2004 05:20 PM (GMT)
Awww. That's sad. Did it happen to you? And is it very far in? Because I wouldn't want to be, like, right in front of the boss when that happened. I would become a homicidal maniac who ran up to people with fresh fruit...
Only Monty Python fans understand me. Heh.
SuicuneSol - March 15, 2004 11:43 PM (GMT)
I didn't find any. Because simply, I just don't care. I just want to play the game.
braveknight3000 - March 16, 2004 05:53 AM (GMT)
I do, because I read what their saying. It can be annoying at sometimes, but it advances the story.
Silver Chaos Adept - March 16, 2004 07:02 PM (GMT)
I read it, but not too closely. Kraden's speaches could be full of errors and I wouldn't notice. Or care.
braveknight3000 - March 17, 2004 03:36 AM (GMT)
Kraden's long speeches are usually meaningless. I hate in the beginning of GS. That part after Sol Sanctum takes forever to get through.
SuicuneSol - March 17, 2004 04:26 AM (GMT)
I hate the beginning where Garet keeps falling through the roof. It can be funny, but after a while, you feel that you just want to keep going.

It adds some humor to the game. I any part of the game where you have to explain your quest to someone. It just annoys me so much.

I what? I don't understand the sentance.
Silver Chaos Adept - March 18, 2004 07:27 PM (GMT)
braveknight3000 - March 19, 2004 11:05 PM (GMT)
I'm saying, in the game when you have to explain your quest a hundred times to a a hundred different people, it gets annoying. It wasn't a error. Just telling how annoying it is.
Slava - March 21, 2004 11:56 PM (GMT)
theres also a typo in a summon, I forget which but it say An wandering mage instead of A wandering mage
Jaken Veina - March 22, 2004 09:47 PM (GMT)
Uhh, that would be Ulysses I think.
braveknight3000 - March 23, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
SuicuneSol - March 23, 2004 04:30 AM (GMT)
Not the case for me. Maybe errors differ from copy to copy...
braveknight3000 - March 23, 2004 07:15 AM (GMT)
I think Camelot should check their work better.
Silver Chaos Adept - March 23, 2004 07:02 PM (GMT)
If you mind read a drummer in Izumo it says 'sometimesi'. At least it's not FF7.
braveknight3000 - March 24, 2004 07:28 AM (GMT)
Gs is a good game, but they should have checked their work over.
flamethrowerqueen - April 3, 2004 04:35 AM (GMT)
Hey, if we care so much, maybe we should make a petition, send it to Camelot, and get the whole game redone for less than 10 mistakes, making them further delay the making of a GS3... <_< :frown: :vein:
God of the Black Flame: Canti - April 4, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
It doesn't really matter THAT much.
Silver Chaos Adept - April 7, 2004 07:08 PM (GMT)
why__? - April 11, 2004 01:29 AM (GMT)
i honestly don't think so. i mean u still get the point of the sentance even if it has spelling errors.
God of the Black Flame: Canti - April 11, 2004 01:57 AM (GMT)
That's the spirit why__?! ^_^ Errors are okay. No one's perfect.

I found that one. I found it in the battle with the Star Magician...it was funny.
SuicuneSol - April 11, 2004 09:29 PM (GMT)
I'll check that out now.
....................................................Oh! I see it!
INH - April 13, 2004 05:03 PM (GMT)
It doesn't matter to me, I think I make a lot of mistakes too.
That's because I speak Dutch, ...
Marlin ßeta - May 17, 2004 03:14 PM (GMT)
These errors are kind of funny, but they don't really detract from the game enough for it to matter.
God of the Black Flame: Canti - May 18, 2004 02:34 AM (GMT)
I never notice these things. :(
...perhaps - May 21, 2004 01:50 PM (GMT)
Hey, I got on this forum just so that I could post some errors I found. I looked over the old postings under this topic and was amused. What I mean to say is, you guys are mostly going on and on about a few typos. I came here to present some real errors.
For one, if you go to SW Atteka Island and move the post and push the box into the water (all the stuff you can do without lift), save your game, and load it, the box will still be on screen, but the game will act like it's not there. Be careful not to hop across the box and posts before saving, I lost my game that way. And if you save standing on the box, you're standing on the water when you load and you can run around on it a bit.
Also, in the Angara cavern push one of the boxes off into the pit so that the wall of the room is the first thing there (one of the two leftmost places where you can). It will hit the wall and stop. Better still, push the other box off the same spot and it will hover with its top at ground level. You can even walk on it.
Thirdly, in the Shaman Village Cave (It might work in other places, but I don't think so) you can jump over rocks here and there. Find a spot where you could jump over a puddle or a gap and there's a rock next to you. If there's nothing on the other side, you can hop over the rock from that position.
Last and least, there are spots on the world map where you can squeeze through tiny gaps in mountains if you wriggle enough. Sometimes you can get stuck. I found out what teleport does on the map because of this.
Hope you all recognize my name
