I DID say one week minimum,not 2 weeks or 1 month,or 1 year......or 1 millenium

The Wind Seer - November 3, 2007 11:59 PM (GMT)

sol_blade - November 4, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
Y'know, I remember how i found this site. I was looking for a way to beat Briggs, so i googled it and this site was on. So....i guess I joined, and everytime i log into the site, I do it through the page I favorited: my first post ever.:)

Mathias - November 4, 2007 05:37 AM (GMT)

Snipe104 - November 5, 2007 11:21 AM (GMT)
I remember when I first came here.

Brave had dragged me here for the clan rush game. It started with one post, and took off from there.

The Wind Seer - November 7, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
...now what was my first post within my first forum that I went to???

SuicuneSol - November 7, 2007 05:15 AM (GMT)
These were my first posts here:

First post as guest

First post as a member

What's funny is the post I made on this page 3-4 years ago. I predicted that my appearance was proof that these forums would become large and lively. They did. For a time at least.

Mathias - November 7, 2007 12:52 PM (GMT)
i remember that thread, i first entered this site through there looking for info about GS3, wondering if there would be one
i was intrigued by the Windwaker debate and joined mainly just because of it

this is my first post on that topic, but im pretty sure it isnt my first

im going to go find the first one lol

Sorry for my disappearance again; rehearsals for Little Women have been....grueling and sleep-depriving, to say the least.

*grins* I myself just remembered that I was looking for Golden Sun fanfiction; this was when I was just getting into the stuff for the first time. How did I remember this? Because I remembered that my first post was in Max's story topic bashing him in the "righteous anger" that I felt because of everyone else's posts.

*laughs* It was really hilarous, because I was probably only 12 or 13 at the time, and it was really silly. I had never even talked to him before. Still, that post sort of "set me up" for friendships with everyone else right off the bat, especially since I was something of a literate, even at that age.

:} And if anyone can contest information I am putting forth, go ahead and do so; I don't make any definite claims when it comes to my memory of four years ago. XP

You know, you guys are going off topic terribly. ~_~

Mewtation - November 8, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
Dude, it's a farewell topic that was kind of pointless in the first place, seeing as you were gone a grand total of...what's that, Tom? SIX DAYS! It's bound to go offtopic.

Mathias - November 8, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
Yeah if you want to go back on topic lets start saying goodbye to you again.

Either that or we can just enjoy the conversation since it's nice to think about when we first came here.

Or we can just have this topic closed too, start voting eh?

Yes, I am an actress (on the high school level, of course).

And of course we go off topic. It's difficult to discuss a small topic such as this for more than a day or two. We naturally move on and switch our focus to other things. >.>

It was quite random though. But not in a bad way.

I deleted my first posts a while back. They're really embarrassing. See, I was a member of the Adult Swim forums way back, early 2004. I got into Golden Sun around March/April, and I got stuck, so I asked for help on the Adult Swim forum, and somebody sent me here. I joined and started an "I'm new" topic, saying hi and asking for help. Now, at the Adult Swim forums, there were so many people that you usually got a reply in about 2 minutes max, if at all. I was used to that, so when nobody was replying, I posted again, kinda annoyed. Then after another couple of minutes, I got mad and posted saying I was going back to the Adult Swim forums, where they didn't ignore people. :gsseatdrop: Later or the next day or something I came back and had a reply. Needless to say I stuck around for a while.

For some reason, I think I remember that... and thinking "what the heck is Canti thinking?"

Don't delete posts, Canti, just because you don't like them. That's not what Mods do. 0_0

Welcome back from your little vacation, Sam. You're an actress too? What part do you want to play?

God of the Black Flame: Canti - November 9, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
It was before I became a mod. I can delete my own posts. :P

EDIT: I went back to my topic, and it appears I didn't delete all of my first posts, just the double (and triple) posts. As you can see, I changed my mind rather quickly about this place.

CLICKY

And of course, due to the server mess before the big one that actually erased posts, the first post is not really the first post from the topic. All of the first posts of all old topics are mixed up.

I was such a dork when I first came here. My grammar was horrendous.

At least my grammar got better. :gsidea:

No 7 days,of course I said a minimum of one week which is 7 days.
This site is like cocaine to me,its addictive,I cant go a second without TRN so I had to tie myself to a chair.

Mewtation - November 10, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
I haven't played the game in two and a half years. You get used to it.

The Wind Seer - November 18, 2007 06:51 PM (GMT)
Golden Sun?

Mewtation - November 18, 2007 06:59 PM (GMT)
Hahaha, funny you should mention that. Yeah, Golden Sun. I dug out the game about a week ago and restarted it. I just beat Tret.

cool. *must start playing it*

Mewtation - November 19, 2007 01:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it's a good game. I just beat Saturos at Mercury Lighthouse and gave the water to Tret so he'd make the Kolima people human again.

Saturos and Menardi were WAY more awesome than Agatio and Karst. :D And this game's got some awesome music.

Lor - November 19, 2007 08:56 PM (GMT)
Hey! I started replaying it a week ago too. I'm at Venus lighthouse. After that, I'll transfer my data to TLA and replay that.

Mewtation - November 20, 2007 02:18 AM (GMT)
"Felix, if you wish to keep your sister safe, I'd get her to obey me."

Menardi is SO awesome.

God of the Black Flame: Canti - November 22, 2007 04:50 PM (GMT)
....Holy crap! I started playing it again about a week ago too! I'm at Colosso right now, I only play during shool. (During classes :gsseatdrop: )

Mewtation - November 23, 2007 03:06 PM (GMT)
I'm stuck on Deadbeard. He's WAY harder than I remember him!

Also, anyone heard of this?

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468548/18313

If I had a Gameshark, I'd so try it out.

FelixGSTLA - November 23, 2007 11:29 PM (GMT)
I've tried it with VBA. Aside from during the developing phase, it's useless... at least that's what I think. You need a gameshark to use the debug room, but you can get everything with the gameshark anyways.

Mewtation - November 24, 2007 05:01 AM (GMT)
Well, I've spent about four hours today screwing around with a ROMmed version of GS, and so far I've managed to, through Debugging alone, get all the way to Suhalla Gate. I'm level 99 with all characters and I've had huge items like the Gaia Blade and other stuff since the beginning.

I've circumvented Mercury Lighthouse completely. That part was an accident, really; through Debug Menu, I got all four party members right at the beginning, which didn't really affect anything story-wise. Jenna still appeared for story purposes, but for all battles it was Isaac, Mia, Ivan, and Garet. Then when I got to where I'd find Ivan, he was there and I just picked him up as usual.

The problem arose when I beat Tret; Mia has scripted lines in Kolima Forest, which leads me to believe that one can complete the Mercury Lighthouse arc before the Tret battle. However, I didn't. So Mia actually registered in the game as in my party at Tret through dialogue scenes, I'd assume. But when I went to Imil, the cutscene when I have to fetch Mia for the sick old man? Couldn't activate it. The game was sure Mia was officially in my party to stay, I assume, so Mia, therefore, wasn't in Imil. Without activating that cutscene, Mia wouldn't go to Mercury Lighthouse to see what was up, she wouldn't open that door in front, and I wouldn't be able to go in.

This part was easily fixed, I got Hermes' Water through the Debug Menu and gave it to Tret. So all's well, pretty much. Went through the game, only completing stuff that would drive the game forward by activating opened paths. Like Altin Mine, for instance. I hit Crossbone Isle early since I had the power. I tried to circumvent Babi and Colosso, but I made it through Suhalla Desert and the guards stopped me at Suhalla Gate, saying I didn't have the papers to pass. (Normally Iodem would escort me after I'd saved Babi and cleared Colosso, remember?) So the game's essentially found a good way of keeping me from sequence breaking again unless I can find something else.

FelixGSTLA - November 24, 2007 07:05 AM (GMT)
Meh... I was too lazy to properly use the debug room... I stuck to gameshark codes instead on my millionth run-through.

Well, I'm also at level 24 with Isaac and Garet and 23 with Mia and Ivan, with six Venus, Jupiter Djinn, five Mercury, and two Mars. The difficulty is my fault, really.

I suggest you wait until all of your characters are level 28 or more and have at least 4 djinni for each party member.

Hahaha, I know I've got to grind a bit. Thanks for the advice, though.
