ehh.... well youve missed the return of many old members, if memory serves me well, the fanfics that I like to call the Unfinished Ones, and also, well the server problem. Especially the server problem.

Server problem, eh? Well, I'm glad that there are at least some familiar faces who come here still.

I was afraid I would come back to find nothing but a nest of strangers.

Well... Most old members come and go... so you might have to wait quite a while to see some of them again.

I can live with that.

What's important is, I have a summer filled with nothing much to do.

I have an unbelievable amount of time to kill.

BTW: Could you please remind me about what happened during the max wars? Although I did not register for a while, I was a guest a couple months before your departure so I remember some of it, but not all...

uhh welcome back. The main thing you missed was like 6 months of posts dying because of the IF server crashing. And I guess there were those couple of days where it was like me and Lor vs. everyone XD Other than that I can't remember anything of real interest in the past year or two. Just the usual forum-y stuff.

Well, I'm back for real, and I'll stick with it if the nature of the forum doesn't die...though from the looks of it, I see it slipping in and out of a coma. We'll see what happens. I'll try to think of something.

Well, if you want to know about the Max Wars, I'll tell ye.

I believe it was either in the midst of Max's or Marlin's fanfic topic. Somehow we got on to a huge tangent about the recently released Fire Emblem, and after about three pages of it in a day, Max began calling us all nerds. Which, if you go back and read the posts, wasn't that far off. It quickly spread to any and all other topics of conversation and for a few days, the topic of our nerdism was the only topic of conversation around. In the end, Max left, saying he had better things to do with his time (which I again don't condemn him for) and we all banned him, and wrote stories about him, and so on. Hopefully, we'll all be a bit less nerdy this time around. Well met, Max.

Haha, nice recollection of the events, Jaken...I would not have remembered a shred of those details had you not said anything, because I could swear that I DID try to assassinate Marlin...Didn't I? If I didn't, I'll just kind of shelf the idea for later.

Well, Zaber, the years went toward...very productive ends, to be sure. I can honestly say that I've only reaped advantages by not being addicted to this place!

Heh, but I will admit, this place holds an incredibly special place in my heart.

This was where I first started to find my writing voice, and this place really jump-started my creative abilities.

I don't think it'll ever be the same, though.

Sadly my friend, the Golden Age was at it's end long ago.

And you're not the only one to get started here. Haha.

But you know...

What I really love is that even after all these years, this place has retained a remarkable sense of innocence from all of its members.

There has been no corruption that I see.

Even though you tried your damn hardest to mess with that. Need I remind you of the Rebellion? XD

We've all grown up in our own ways, and yet, we're still so much the same. ^_^ If you look hard enough, I'm sure some of you can still manage to find a shred or two of the old Sam in there.
