camelot is still alive!!! and working on an rpg!!! now i seriously doubt its gs3 but NP
( probobly not havin enough info...) didnt give a title name.....soooo we can at least
expect a new rpg from camelot!!! and guessing from there standards on their last

SuicuneSol - December 4, 2005 10:56 PM (GMT)
Oh dear, Felix. I feel your pain, as this is old news to us.

felix777 - December 4, 2005 11:09 PM (GMT)
oooo my bad guys i havent been around for a while sooo
gawd im so embarrassed.....
could we just kill this topic now....?......pleez?

SuicuneSol - December 6, 2005 12:21 AM (GMT)
Why not keep it, and talk about what we think it might be like. Felix, say something.

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 6, 2005 01:04 AM (GMT)
Well....

"For years rumors fueled by Japanese reports alleged that the company was underway with a GameCube sequel to Golden Sun. However, a Camelot "Help Wanted" ad placed in the latest issue of Japan's Famitsu Magazine this week suggests that the studio's next RPG will be for a next-generation system, very likely Revolution."

"We love RPGs a lot and we profoundly adore the universe we created with the Golden Sun series on GBA," he replied when he was asked if Camelot was making a Golden Sun sequel for consoles. "At the moment, though, it is impossible for us to share information on this subject with you and so our answer is neither yes nor no." Takahashi added that Camelot does have projects underway and that he expects it "will be able to show some new things at E3."

(If it is old news, I don't know why I put that there...)
They do seem a little secretive...almost too secretive.... It could very well be GS3, but it could also not be...

Anyways! What the game would be like... hmmm... maybe a fighting style close to that of Sudeki. I dunno.

felix777 - December 6, 2005 08:25 PM (GMT)
oooooh man i sooo wish it was gs3!
and thats a lil secretive if u ask me but on the same note
ive learned w/camelot that i shouldnt get my hopes up.....

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 6, 2005 08:53 PM (GMT)
Ooh, that is the truth, there...

I really would like it to have Sudeki's fighting style... that just rocked. The game itself was kinda bad though. :sweatdrop:

felix777 - December 6, 2005 09:20 PM (GMT)
y'know ive never heard of it!?
tell me bout it
(but lets not get off topic )

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 7, 2005 01:12 AM (GMT)
On Sudeki, there were 4 people, and you could switch who you controlled. Each one had their own way of fighting, combos, and special abilities. Real time fighting, basically. (It sucked because there was a bad ending, and the game was short)

And all through that game, I thought "I would love for Golden Sun to play like this..."

felix777 - December 7, 2005 09:13 PM (GMT)
sooo sorta like gs but you could pick ur character
like instead of felix or issac you could pick garet or piers or jenna?

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 7, 2005 09:45 PM (GMT)
Yes. And they'd have their corresponding weapons and powers. All real time, except time kinda slowed down when you used special abilities... it slowed time for a few seconds while it charged. You were unaffected, though.

Djinn would be like abilities, summons would be the spirit strikes. Those dealt massive damage...

But yeah, that's what I'd love for Golden Sun 3 to be like.

felix777 - December 7, 2005 10:44 PM (GMT)
yea IF ( BIG IF )
they make it....
ya know we could hust make this
"THE ALL-PURPOSE GS3 CONTEMPLATION THREAD!!!!!"

SuicuneSol - December 8, 2005 12:23 AM (GMT)
It'll come out. I promise.

I hate the Xbox. Therefore, I hate Sudeki. But its battle system sounds pretty good. From the way it sounds, is it much like Kingdom Hearts excluding the fact that you can control different characters?

felix777 - December 8, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
yea it does but how do you know it'll come out?
and pleez dont do that
"my dad wrks at camlot its gona be ot sooon!!!!!"
but suicunes not like that so i have nuthin to be worried bout.

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 9, 2005 03:23 AM (GMT)
Not to beat a dead horse, but it is, Suicune. Yeah, it's somewhat like KH I guess...

But GS 3 would have to have something new. Perhaps, the other side of Weyard?

SuicuneSol - December 9, 2005 06:55 AM (GMT)
I don't think so... I'd like to see more of Weyard as we see it now. Imagine running around in Vale as Isaac! :!: I just don't want to see the lighthouse scenario repeated again.

felix777 - December 9, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)
SEE!!!!!! thats exactly what ma fanfic is about!!!
but its soooo stupid apparantly.... :upset:

Void - December 9, 2005 08:25 PM (GMT)
The other side of Weyard? You me the bottom of it? Weyard is flat... It's a game where you walk around on rocky area, upside down, under water?

Then again, that could be really cool if you got some kind of ability so that you could go under water, and you could explore the bottom of Weyard, finding ruins inhabited by spirits and monsters and stuff, and you find that Weyard used to be round and like the world today. The Mt. Aleph would have come to that side and you would fight Alex there. He would have gone insane from being stuck down there with nothing making much sense, under water for a long time. Hey... Someone could right a fanfic like that! That would actually be kind of cool.

In fact, I might try writing that. There could be another four light houses that activate the... Silver Moon? A better name would be good. And then Weyard would be fixed so that it was round again. Somewhere in there the Wise One would be explained. And stuff like that.

ZaberTheAlmighty - December 9, 2005 08:48 PM (GMT)
Silver Moon's been done. Interesting concept, I'd say. I was thinking more of a parallel world... the water just keeps falling, it doesn't collect at the bottom. (I'd venture to say.)

Void - December 9, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
But what about all that misty water stuff on the edge of the world map? I suppose they could just be clouds, but I never thought of it that way...

WarriorAngel01 - December 11, 2005 01:51 AM (GMT)
That sorta reminds me of LoZ: WW. You know, how you go under the sea at the Tower of the Gods (or something like that, haven't played it in a while) to get to Hyrule.

But, uh, I'd read that fanfic if anyone wrote it. Sounds interesting. ^_^

Urahara - December 21, 2005 05:49 AM (GMT)
I kinda hope it doesn't have real time battles. I like kingdom hearts, but I prefer the time for strategy that's not provided with real time battles.
