Title: EMR BUNKHOUSE!!!
Description: enough intrest?

Brimstone - October 3, 2005 11:04 PM (GMT)
I was just wondering if we had enough intrest in getting a bunkhouse at EMR. CrashSTP can get us a slight member reduction so we dont NEED 15 people. We have been talking about this on and off and with the year coming to a close I was just wondering if there would be any intrest for the 2006 playing year.
In order to get a bunkhouse we need a certaint number of people to buy year round passes.

At PP2 I was sort of elected to set this up so if there are any questions feel free to ask and I will try to the best of my ability to get the awnser.
Info on passes can be found here

Feel free to contact me through aim at Notoriousf350

Sheazer - October 4, 2005 01:31 AM (GMT)
If theres enough people, I'll probably be up for it. I think we'll need a weekend to head down there and give a bunkhouse to much needed love though.

Brimstone - October 4, 2005 01:43 AM (GMT)
... 1 more people and we have a bunk house

I'll try, work may get in the way. Yeah, i got a new job.

amhildreth - October 4, 2005 10:28 PM (GMT)
This one may require a tad more thought than originally projected. As of today, the financial outhouse at work got a little shakey, and until it stops or collapses, shelling out the cash for a season pass may not be the most fiscally sound thing to do. Gad- I hate stupid corporations...mumble..mumble..

Fryloc - October 4, 2005 10:30 PM (GMT)
I didn't know there were any empty bunkhouses. Did one open up?

Brimstone - October 5, 2005 12:16 AM (GMT)
there are, the reson we get need less members is becasue set bunk house needs some work before we move in.
me and sheazer are going to work on it on the end of cotober and fix the one spot on the floor, finish insulating it and but in the door, from there it will take me and a buddy fo mine a fue more trips to finish it up for the april new season, and unless i misunderstood, bob is going to help out to.

CrashSTP - October 5, 2005 12:28 AM (GMT)
Yes I will

Brimstone - October 8, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
up, seeing if there is anymore intrest

bob102 - October 8, 2005 04:33 AM (GMT)
I'll help out when I can as far as man power goes.

TrojanMan - October 9, 2005 02:29 AM (GMT)
Brimstone, you already listed me up there, but this post is just to let you know I'm in if you need help. The rest of the Ninja Chameleons should be coming along too, so we can ditch the camper for next year (save LOTS of fuel cost, you know?)

I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make the Lost Land game yet or not, but I'll probably be able to get one weekend somewhere free if you want to get toegether and fix up the cabin. I'll be keeping my eyes open at yard sales for some good stuff for it. I'll have my season pass... eh, whenever I get around to mailing Blue a check. Sometime soon, at least...

Noodles is in also.

Noodles - October 9, 2005 02:33 AM (GMT)
It'll be great to have a space in the bunkhouse and ditch the camper. I'm planning on buying a season pass for next year, so sign me up. I'm pretty sure Waldo will get one too. Ted and I will make sure he knows about the bunkhouse deal and see if he's in. Unfortunately, I can't make any more games this year because of my schedule. So, I'll see you in the spring for Quest!!!!

Chemical X - October 9, 2005 04:11 PM (GMT)
My pontiac is acting very poorly. And I am afraid to take in on the 750+ miles (one way) that it takes me to get to EMR. I will probly send you a MO (for the season pass).

Chem-X

Brimstone - October 10, 2005 08:25 PM (GMT)
well I have good news, I just got my hands on a leather couch for the bunkhouse.

TrojanMan - October 11, 2005 01:27 PM (GMT)
Way to go, Dan.

I have to ask: What bunkhouse should we mention being a part of when we go to pick up season passes? Is "SCP bunkhouse" sufficient or should we list a number as well? Even if just out of curiosity, what number bunkhouse DO we have?

Keepin' my eyes open at garage sales...

Brimstone - October 11, 2005 01:37 PM (GMT)
ill ask bob
the house is two up from the marshals bunk

CrashSTP - October 11, 2005 02:25 PM (GMT)
Just ask for the SCP bunkhouse - part of the reason I suggested that one was if the ninjas wanted to bring the RV they can get it alongside the bunkhouse

Brimstone - October 11, 2005 04:53 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (CrashSTP @ Oct 11 2005, 09:25 AM)

oh great bring the rv I smooch beer out of even closer, ...oh my liver is going to be pissed.

Noodles - October 16, 2005 10:43 PM (GMT)
You smooch beer? That's odd, I've just been drinking it. What have I missed out on?

:P

BTW- Thanks, Bob. That's really thoughtful. I knew there was a reason we made the trip to EMR so much!

:D

CrashSTP - October 17, 2005 01:26 AM (GMT)
No problem - your welcome

Brimstone - October 20, 2005 06:36 PM (GMT)
*edit* bad choise of words, has been sent via pm

(mod squad) if possible can this be sticked :D

Sheazer - October 21, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
Danno, can't make it at the end of the month, sorry bro. I'm still in for this though.

amhildreth - October 21, 2005 10:28 PM (GMT)
Not sure what kind of reception we'd get up in da hills, but I have a small Sony TV I could probably donate to the cause. The digital tuner takes a bit to warm up, but it's free!

Brimstone - October 22, 2005 12:17 AM (GMT)
thanks for the sticky.
andy your tv is welcome, and appreceated.

Brimstone - October 24, 2005 04:53 AM (GMT)

splattttttt - October 31, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
aka Action Bob, we're forming a group of ten (possibly more) here in Mass. for PPlll, and I wanted to know if there might be a bunk house that we could have. :)

Brimstone - October 31, 2005 01:16 AM (GMT)
there will be bunk space there.

CrashSTP - October 31, 2005 07:28 PM (GMT)
Yes as normal when we have events at EMR just pre reg and request a bunkhouse as a team I would LOVE to have an issue of not enough space for every one at PP3

Brimstone - November 30, 2005 06:33 AM (GMT)
looks like due to lack of involvement, we are getting the paintball marshals old bunk house.
it nicley done, so we need to do less work, im going to level it, and make it so it dosent slide. so we can make inportaint stuff, like a bar.

we need 10 people to get it

me
ben
stroke ace?
six?
sheazer?
trojan man
waldo
noodles
anyone else?

splattttttt - November 30, 2005 12:49 PM (GMT)
PBMarshall's drpped out from PPlll?
I hope I can keep the fire lit long enough to make it ther in 06. The guys I usually play pump with, are a perfect example of what a "Minute Men" pb group should be, planning this far aheah, could be a different story.
I'm having jesrsey's made for this one. Nice camo tie dye, with names and # on back, and of corse the SCP on the front left :D

Brimstone - November 30, 2005 02:27 PM (GMT)
no, they didn't drop, there bunk house had zero season passes :( .
and this isn't just for Pump pandemonium, its for all of the emr games

Brimstone - December 1, 2005 01:44 AM (GMT)
me and meph are going to be up there next sunday the 11th? to work, any one who want to help is welcom to come help out.

TKG - December 1, 2005 03:00 AM (GMT)

Cargo - December 1, 2005 01:59 PM (GMT)
What happened to the PBMarshalls??

Splattt, PM me if you need graphic assist on that.

TKG - December 1, 2005 11:30 PM (GMT)
thats what I'd like to know really. I'll bother star about it when I get the chance.

Star69 - December 2, 2005 03:30 AM (GMT)
Brim you better talk to Marshalfounder First According to him you've been missinformed.

As far as the Marshals go Were still here we've just been quiet the past couple of months.

There is a Marshals meeting comming up soon anyway Ladymarshal will post details somewere.

If anyone is concerned about our status please contact marshalfounder via email at marshalfounder@juno.com and he will reply to you.

Brimstone - December 2, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
it's what i heard from the people at emr, i wish the masses, or someone would get in contact with me ive sent emails in the past.....

ThePaintballMarshal - December 8, 2005 05:33 PM (GMT)
Hello
to all I've been away due to a private family matter

and there are seven paintball marshals ( not including Me or missy)
who had season passes last year but their passes where credited to other bunkhouses
and if the money for the 2006 season is not due until January 15 2006
which is what the E-mail Blue sent me said
and the fact that many SCP members are also marshals
then I would say that we should still have a bunkhouse
At pp2 I had talked to some of you about bunk space for SCP members who are not members of the marshals because of the limited bunkhouses available
and If everybody wants to change the name from the marshal bunkhouse to
the pumpers play house thats cool just email me so we can get an accurate count on bunks and what events you are going to so if your not going to an event
someone can use your bunk for a guest . I was also thinking of building lockers
with a number to match the number of each bunk
So if you buy a season pass you have a lockable storage cabinate and bunk
if you do not get a season the floor is wet and cold.

Jim Masse

E-mail marshalfounder@juno.com
if you have any questions

Brimstone - December 8, 2005 07:12 PM (GMT)
okay, cleared things up a bit, it will be a joint bunk house unless there are any objections.

TrojanMan - December 8, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
Jim, good plan. "Pumper's Playhouse", eh? Do you think we could get a big, red chair that talks and a genie inside a TV cabinet? No? Darn...

The arrangement seems acceptable to me - how many bunks are there? I have 4 people who would make just about every game (unless something suddenly comes up). We would really like dedicated bunks since we will almost certainly be at every event. It seems as if there should be enough space for all the passholders (15-20 at most?) to have their own "personal" bunk. Obviously, if you are unable to attend an event there's no reason the space shouldn't be used for a guest...

What does the bunkhouse need/want? Is there anything we can/should contribute to make the place a bit nicer? Even if it's just "keep an eye out for a cheap one".

Lockable storage seems like a nice idea, is it something to keep an eye out for? BYO or does someone have a good line on where to get a bundle of them?

Personally, I wouldn't mind "sharing" a bunkhouse -especially a nice one that I didn't particularly have to help out to build- though I'm sure there will be a few compromises along the way.

I propose that we get an email list together of everyone interested in the bunkhouse so it is easier to communicate directly. Even if that happens after we all buy passes for the year, at least it will be easier to coordinate schedules and bunkspace plans once we have that tool. I'll PM my information to Jim and Brimstone and copy this post and info to your email. Please let me know if I can do anything to help out.

The quicker we get the details sorted out, the easier it's going to be to draw up a full plan.
