Description: Who won?

What's the name of the kid who won that bloody Illusion at CC16? I remember it was his birthday, and that he's right now already selling it on eBay!
But what's his name? Gotta add that in the article.

i saw that , though boththe guys name and the edition number escape me at the moment. according to the ad hes donating half the winning bid price to charity, which i thought was pretty standup.

Actually Mav, it's half of every dollar over the reserve that's getting donated.
No matter what this kid is going to get one heck of a chunk of change for the marker... if the reserve is met. As to the retired racing horses.. well they might get a little something.
Which reminds me I have to drop a couple bucks in the stray cat blues donation jug when I'm out this weekend getting kitty liter. I already donated to the VFW this year.. and I tipped the pizza guy well the other night. I think my karma is ok for at least a day;)
Later!

i like horses..but they seem to be pretty well supported already, i can think of some other good causes that could do much more with some extra cash..
Glad i havent won one of those though... no way i could sell it, and no way i could let it hang on the wall.. id PLAY with it.. :D

when I saw it.. that was the first thing that went through my mind.. "why do I want a marker I can't use?" yea, it would have been cool bragging rights.
I honestly said to my teammate standing next to me was that if I won it, I would have handed it straight to Joker and told him to do with it as he saw fit...
something big like that, that started with a Charity, needs to end with a Charity..

Kids name was Jeremy...W something. Don't recall right now, Sorry. I spoke to him as he walked out with it, asking him how long it was gonna take to start the fondling.

Yeah, I just think it kind of sucks. I'd have rather seen the person win it been somebody who could've actually enjoyed it. Not somebody who wants to just make a quick buck off of it. But oh well, that's why it's a random prize. And he can of course do as he wish with it.
But screw it, I'll just have to omit the name. I'll have to give Blue a call as last effort, see if he has the name. I doubt it, though.

It's pretty cool that he's donating 1/2 of the cash to charity. I guess his mind and heart are in the right place. But, I can tell you one thing:
If I'd have won that gun, it would have been covered in paint in the next game I played. I just couldn't let it sit in that case. Hell, I'd HAVE to use it!!

OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!! that is the sexiest, coolest, and what ever else you wanna call it gun!! dam i wish i had that gun. but i too would have to play with it. why have a gun like that and never put a ball through it? anyhoo hope whoever buys it will put it to some use. that thing is sooooo cool B) :pow: . i will stop talking now as i have to clean up the puddle of drool on the floor.

Actually stroker... "Also I have the reserve set for $2,500.00... but 50% of every dollar over the reserve will be donated to the same charity that the last Shatner pump was"
If somebody buys this they're probably going to be going just on top of the reserve. Considering you can buy one brand new, lower number, direct from AM for but only $2100!!!!
So that money that will go to charity would probably end up being 10 bucks while he keeps the $2500 himself.

Personally I think its a shame this kid won such a great marker and he is allready selling it. I also find it kinda retarded that he would use a charity as a means to get people to meet his reserve price. Man I want that baby!
p'baller - October 13, 2003 03:23 AM (GMT)
good point meph. i didnt see that before. 50% of every dollar over the reserve? so if it sells for 2501 then its only going to be $.50. thats pretty sad. he won that marker for nothing. i think he should donate half of the entire winning bid. nut on the other hand it might go for $5000 and 1250 would be donated.
