A big thank you to everyone here - reguardless of if you made it to Castle Conquest or not. Because of everyone one this site, our setup at EMR seemed to be one of the main gravity wells for pump and semi players alike. Many folks that showed to say hi commented on being casual lurkers to the boards, and were very impressed with our general coversations, overall knowledge base, and openness to accept anyone that shows up here. Mav, Cargo, worrptangl, Bored, and many others busted tail from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening to get everthing running, cook crazy amounts of food, and talk with everyone - not caring what type of marker they used. Several folks bought the new SCP shirts and patches. Plenty of stickers were passed out, and there were always engaging conversations that anyone was welcome to join in. All of you that couldn't make it out were sorely (I do mean that in a welty sort of way :P ) missed. All in all, due to the code of honor and integrity that we all display (and some sweet moves on the field), we've gained HUGE respect from players of all ranks. Thank you again to all of you for making SCP what it is. Even with everything that happened over the weekend, I think the most memorable moment for me is when I left the tent late Saturday afternoon to get some gear from the bunkhouse. I was stopped by a player that has been playing Tourney for several year, and he said that himself and many semi shooters were impressed - and amazed with our performance, determination, and fair play while on the field. He went to say that after witnessing what he did, he would like to try getting into pump and stock play himself. Even though we lost the Castle, I still felt like we had a bigger win that day...

What a weekend!! That was the best weekend of paintball I've ever had in all my years of playing. Good, hard play. Great people to hang out with, just a whole lot of fun.
heh - I've been on vacation the past week with my girlfriend. The past 10 days for me have simply been amazing, all starting with Castle Conquest.
