Sorry guys, but I'm out too. For those of you that knew my travel plan it was to drive down to Reno for an MXS game this last weekend, then fly from Reno to BGM and on to Castle. Unfortunately my car's coolant pump and radiator went out in Winnemuca, NV (on the plus side, it didn't go out 100 miles from the nearest service station). The cost of fixing it is just enough that I'll have enough money to get home, and it won't be done until after my flight was supposed to leave anyway. Perhaps the plan was too complicated, or maybe this was just too big of a hitch to get over, but either way I'm not going to get there.

On the up side, somebody on the waiting list is now in. I will definitely be thinking about you guys Saturday when I'm out shooting semi players at my home field, assuming I make it back safely and with enough spare cash to pay the field fee. I had a PPIG flag made up in the order the Marshals ran, that can probably be entrusted to Hans or any of the other Team PPIG folks that show up.

Now go kick some arse for me!

I bet that the Burphel in this message Burphel at all but instead he has been kidnapped by the attackers (and so has Tyger) so that they cannot play, then these "real life" excuses they enter into the boads will sound like legitamate reasons for their absence and we will not look for them, beliving that they really couldn't make it. :)

Yes, please, send the Ninjas! If they can find a way to get my arse to EMR and back home as well as getting the car back, I'm all for it :ph43r:. Really, I'm kinda wondering if my car's computer chip just took offense and decided to sabotage me. Maybe it's time to invest in a bicycle.

OK, I'm officially home safe. Perhaps the biggest bummer is that my local field won't even be open this weekend because of a tourney in a nearby town. At this point I'm planning on sitting around Saturday and giving my Emag dirty looks while flipping between message boards to see which one posts up results first.

Actually I was really on fire today at my home field. I don't know if it'd be enough to make a difference, but I sure wish I could have been at the Castle shooting like that. And if nothing else, I'm *always* up for a suicide charge.

And just as a heads up to the EMR regulars, I should be heading back there next year for Return of the King, seeing as my team captain's going to be Sauron. I'm still not sure if I want to come back as Gollum, though. EMR's an awesome field, but running all over it trying to make meet and greets with both teams shooting at you can be frustrating.
