Not long ago, I managed to score a Rapide w/20rd clip in good condition. The barrel looked like it had never been polished out, so a good cleaning was in order. After some polishing, and a little oil, this thing became unstoppable! It was given a maiden speedball voyage on Friday night, in a few 4v4 games. The first game out with it, I eliminated 2 of the 4 opposite players in the first 90 seconds of the game. The accuracy with the Rapide was quite good. It did take a little getting used to having to turn the clip every 5 shots. Honestly, after the stellar performance it displays, I don't understand why it didn't sell better. On the downside - I hope I never have to take it apart..the mechanics of the thing seem insane.

Do you have the clear or green version? My friend had the clear one and the plastic eventually showed stress cracks. They got so bad the marker was unusable (IIRC something broke off and it was done for). Apparently the green ones survived better as another friend with a green one still has his.

green version. Same look, material, and great taste as the Splatmaster!

You should try to find one of the aftermarket 40 round magazines. I really liked mine, except for the chronoing in at 190 part. It was great accuracy wise though.
