Title: Fund raiser for SCP.com
Description: selling my Kp2 soon, looking to help

10-shot kid - January 27, 2005 01:50 PM (GMT)
I've decided to sell my kp2 for some needed funds. Itsrefurbished entierly by Palmers, nicle plated by them, and has a cooper-t C/a adapter and 2 stocks. I put 400 into it, figure it'll sell for over 350 for sure.

My idea is to put it on E-bay and keep 250 that I need and give the rest to SCP.com. Was wondering if their was a direct and safe way for me to do this. Something that would let the buyers know for sure that everything over 250 is going to you guys. I have yet to set up an E-Bay and Pay-pal account but am gearing up to get this going. Need to sell a couple things over E-bay, this is one of the ideas.

My e-mail is tenshotkid@aol.com if you want to talk in private about this.

Interested in taking any offers outside of ebay?

10-shot kid - January 28, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
would rather do it on the forum, but need an admin/mods permishion. I also want to set up an easy and secure way for me to get this cash to them. I think an auction, espicially one designated as a fund raiser could raise more cash, so it might be a better route.

10-Shot:

All i can say is "wow" , even the idea of it is above and beyond the "call of duty" and very much appreciated. Oldskool has also proposed a similiar action and i am overwhelmed by the support and dedication to SCP by many of you here..
With all honesty, we dont want anyone to do anything of this sort without properly thinking it through. Any help is appreciated, but we dont want anyone to do anything they might regret later, and no ill would be thought if these things didnt come to fruition. But if you do decide to go this route, we will make sure that everyone here knows that you not only talked the talk, but walked the walk..
No matter what you decide, even the thought is very much appreciated, and any contribution will be put to good use , of that much i can assure you..Please accept my sincere thanks, on behalf of everyone here, for even considering this... -_- -_- -_-

Great gesture! Let us know if you decide to post it on ebay or sell it direct via the forum. I'm interested in it, especially if it helps out SCP.

Maverick, I wouldn't regret this. The kp-2 was a bad buy for my playing style and was going to be sold soon anyways. A couple hundred out of my pocket isn't a big deal as long as I get my 250. It's been thought through, I wouldn't have posted otherwise :)

Better than shipping of .80 on the dollar to tsunami aid :P

Ever thought of having a raffle type thing?

I guess this wouldn't work w/ ebay but you may be able to sell tickets for like 5-??? dollars a ticket and eventually draw for the winner.

A lot of people would chip in i think because they would have the chance of getting such a good marker for a miniscule payment. That way maybe you'd sell the kp for a lot more than possible if bought by one person.

Just a thought we came up with in the phog.

wouldnt do a raffel, sorry. Anyhow just started getting an E-bay account. I need to go set up a checking account now :P If SCP.com has an officiall e-bay account that'd be good. I dont know if me not having any feedback will hurt the sale of this gun. I'm still waiting on if you guys have a secure way for the people bidding to know the cash is going to you.

I have a good ebay and paypal account. I have a good reputation with people here and over at MCB. I have an ebay feedback over 200. I could do the auction from my account and when the winning bidder pays I can give you the info and you ship the KP off. I would just need pics to post for the auction.
Or you could sell it to me. :D

The Kp wll be for sale at the tune of 500 dollars at EMR's upcoming castle conquest. The deal is still the same, 250 to me the rest to SCP. If anyone would like to offer over 500 dollars and WILL ACTUALLY HAVE IT I will keep the gun off the table before the game starts. If you don't get to me I'll sell it to the first person to come on by after the game. You paying me more will only go to SCP's pockets, nothing over 250 is going into the 10-shot fund.

On that note anyone who reserves the gun and doesn't cancel and then stands me up can expect a bit of trash talk from me about them. This is not like the pump vs. semi game, making me hold the gun will lower the odds of me being able to sell it for this places benifit and I will not stand for that sort of attitude.
